Cell Max using the full body lasers gave me some legit Shin Godzilla vibes. Same color, same concept. Almost like they took inspiration from Shin Godzilla for one of Cell Max's abilities.

The battles bring such excitement and leaving you at the edge of your seat when it's a close battle with the heroes and the villian,, especially if the side heroes are dying and suffering to win, allowing the mc to explode with power. If I had a nickel for every time Cell was brought back then killed by Gohan after he powered up from seeing a father figure get badly wounded/die and then beat the new stronger Cell with help from one of his father's former enemies, I would have 2 nickels, which isn't much but it's weird it happened twice
It would've been REALLY cool if this was taking place during the tournament of power, Goku and Frieza fighting for the sake of the universe with Gohan and Piccolo fighting to save the Earth, their home. I don't know how they would've explained Gohan and Piccolo being absent from the t.o.p but it would've been cool in the manga to see Gohan firing the Special Beast Cannon while Goku and Frieza do Final Impact (their finisher) on Jiren
