He doesn't play any position...he is position 😂
@@Loudestcopperit is his assigned position, but not his real position
Video is as underrated as muller himself
I’m confused why this video is considered underrated as its no different to all my other videos, however I appreciate the comment 👍
He is a perfect example for the quote
Greatest trick of the devil is to make sure it doesn't exist
He doesn’t have a position, he just exists
he exists in a quantum superposition across the entire field and his position can only be determined when the ball is in a good spot
“space interpreter… there’s really no word in english for it, it’s very cool actually”
Btw: it's a pun in german. Traumdeuter would be a dream interpreter.
Players like Müller and Neuer truly embody what Germany is about: Inventiveness and creativity

Absolute banger of a footballer, understood the game like nobody else.
He is a legend!
He has revolutionized football.
Muller is just "there". Hes always there somewhere. I honestly never had an idea where he was actually playing. Hes just "there" and thats it. And thats so fascinating about him.
That makes Muller special, he doesnt shine in anything but great in everything.
You just cant know where he plays, he just pops up when you least expect it.
When i was younger I was playing FIFA and looked at Mullers stats (they weren’t that great) and I asked my dad why he had such a high overall rating and my dad told me that he was just always in the right position at the right time and that was what made him so good
I resent that people say he isn't skilful or technical. He was one of Pep's go-to players. You dont get in his starting eleven week in week out without being very technically sound, or dare I say, technically great.
Muller's first touch, ball retention and and striking technique are all top class.
I agree. He is not as flashy as all these other star players, but he is just as good or even better than many of them. Because he is a true team player and will always look for a pass.
genuinely one of the best players of the passing generation. i hope he gets all the respect he deserves once he retires
Havertz's real inspiration 😂
@@oa9606 yeah
Their playstyle is kind of similar that ppl don't wanna see
Because of the stats
But if you have looked their style, possesioning and decision making
It's definitely a similar one that a normal formation can't explain

He’s the ultimate Jack of all Trades
The more literal translation would be interpreter of space. For those who are wondering why he would choose such an odd term: it's a pun. Traumdeuter means interpreter of dreams.
All of sudden, he shows up and scores 😂😂😂
the position where he prioritise his team goals than his stats
he sounds like isagi

Love this guy, such a legend
Thomas is such an underrated sleeper on the field, he seems to know always the Position of every player like a god damn radar and that makes him incredible dangerous.
The Position is not that new or unique there were players before him as Deep-Lying Forward or False-10. but he managed to master that role like nobody before him.
A personal Fun Fact: I used to play a very similar position as a Teen in my club and also in Fifa and PES career mode, basically a central deep-lying forward. We called it always just the 13. because this was my number, same number as later Thomas Mueller in the German Team.
His first touch💥❤️
He is a super ball king
It doesn't mean space finder, it means more like space interpreter. He doesn't only find the space, he interpretes how to use the space
Thomas Muller has reinvented the meaning of position play. Up until now, we see football as a sport where the most flashier, the more consistent, the better. In this case, Thomas Muller isn't flashy, Thomas Muller isn't that consistent, but he is truly better. Vision is what makes passes truly effective, but if you use it with your position in the field and how you can achieve a goal for your team, thats exactly how Thomas Muller does it. He finds the correct spot in every attacking play, either it's safe, it's a risky attacking through ball, or a guaranteed goal. All of it is in Muller's position. His effect on the field is so great that many defenders try to mark him yet they couldn't follow him exactly because they didn't know what he was gonna do.
What's even more deadly is that throughout the games, he scans his teammates and see's if he can pass to them. And that pass is either pin-point accurate or just a guaranteed goal. This man shares his vision, intelligence and play with his teammates. His short passing is impeccable, leaving teammates with goals, using his teammates for his goals, truly one of a kind. Thomas Muller, The Raumdeuter. Truly revolutionized the art of position play and the art of short passing.
I think that’s basically what Havertz is going to be used as at Arsenal. In Arteta we trust!
Thomas the best player and the smartest to be clear he is a legend
"I dont play in any position Skyler, I am the position"
He's similar to Bergkamp, Cantona, Totti among others
Muller will always beat his opponents without beating them. He is a unique Football Legend...

cmon bayern fans show love to our legend
Second Striker i guess
Very underrated player!!
The legendary MULLER 🔥
What Müller can do with the ball is already impressive, but what he can do without it is unbelievable.
If you show this to louise van gaal he will say he invented it for muller
It's very clear where the inspiration for Isagi came from, And I'm glad he is a representation of my favorite footballer
One of the best players of out generation
Bellingham recently has become very similar to Muller. Much like Muller he usually starts from the midfield, On the wing or as a kind of false 9 play maker. In my opinion he's also definitely a Raumdeuter. He's always there to either exploit spaces in the opposition's defence or fill in spaces in his own defence.
His position is called a Second Striker, players like Totti and Del Piero are the embodiment of this position
@@mohammadhrajaeei8637if they did they would still be Second Strikers. When Messi and Ronaldo played Wing and outscored their strikers they weren't all of a sudden strikers they were still wingers
@@mohammadhrajaeei8637Totti did not have Muller's vision and passing? Seriously? He is one of the best playmaker in football history.
@@alejandromelecio you're talking about the greatest, but if you look at the way they drive the ball is like an Attacking midfielder would do and finish like a striker, every player is different from another, Thierry Henry was a left wing who turned to centre forward but still attack from all sides left primarily, Ronaldo nazario was a 9 that was so good that he can maintain the game in the midfield, and the wing, Ronaldinho too but he is an Attacking midfielder
Kai Harvetz learnt from the best.
he is a modern version of Cruyff
One of my favourite players he’s extremely underrated imo

German future coach
He is a true legend ❤
Müller is everywhere when the ball is there ready to be a goal! He does not need a position. When he is on the pitch, he will find the opportunity and space to score a lucky goal when no one perceives.
Müller has invented such a "position" hard to describe and left his name in football history! He is invisible when intensely guarded, but pops out to snatch a goal when no one notices! No one else can play this style as well as Müller so far! 👍👍👍
Müller is the real 🐐

Weird how every guy in that Bayern squad in the early 2010s is massively underrated individually yet everyone acknowledges how good of a team they were
He's second striker
Raumdeuter means "space interpreter", not space finder.
It's not a position, it's a role or a style of play.
He has played right winger (of course, he's a German), attacking midfielder and striker, but his personality and skills didn't change, he played as a Raumdeuter at all 3 positions.
I learned something today thank you!
Gundo is his prodigy
This is why you don't necessarily need 99 pace or Messi's dribbling

@@ST-wl4dh it is a real position its just not used often because you would have to sacrifice one of your mid fielders or defenders to have 4 up front
MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER EVER
Legend ✨
Bro explained my position in one short…💀
He is the position 😂
Its not only the situations/spaces he creates for himself but also for his team.
Often you will see him pulling defenders out of the spaces where hes anticipating the ball to be just to clear the space for his teammates to create dangerous situations
No matter what hes still my idol
I think he played the Roberto Baggio position kind of like a second striker
I think he's actually a second striker, but Bayern and German football don't usually use those anymore. In his time. 4231 and 433 formation were used, so Muller was hard to pin down. If he had played in a 442 age, it would haven been evident what was his position.
His position is a second/shadow striker, raumdeuter has the role to create soace and penetrate. SS also need to create space and to penetrate
The way I always used to describe him is that if you watched him for 1 match, you would think he's the worst player Bayern has, but if you watched him for 10 matches you'd realise he was the best.
He constantly looks awkward and sluggish, seems to be out of position, and apparently has poor technical skills, but after a while watching everything he does work you realise that his unique and weird style is an advantage because defenders don't know how to play against it, his positioning is immaculate, just atypical, and his efficiency with the ball is unbelievable.
Raumdeuter sounds awesome
He was so scary in the field with his positioning system just like havertz
It means space interpreter
Sounds like chicharito. Alwyss at the right place at the right time to place the ball in the back of the net
Im abreviating this as RD
The goat 🐐
Muller is a very rare player, playing in rare post but i do think there are only 2 players in this world right now that can also play reumdeuter, Griezmann and Van De Bek
Thomas Müller doesn't beat you with his dribbles, his skills, nor his pace. He just beats you.
😂😂😂
You REALLY watch the games man. This is so accurate description
you can't beat someone that you lose track about, and muller just do that. he just vanished from your line of sight and suddenly his name pops up on the score sheet
That doesn't make sense. If he doesn't beat you in any of those you are skilled enough to stop him. The thing is, it's his skills to pop up at the right time
@@Chessplayer81837muller doesn’t use skills, he uses his iq and passing and vision to beat you and his touches
