No, it is canon. In the rework, Tabi states that he’s been watching Boyfriend for a long time. He even says, and quote, “I’ve seen the power of your love towards her. You fought that bomb guy, then that batshit crazy zombie.”, which I’m sure any FNF fans knows who those people are. No matter how you slice it and dice it, Tabi does indeed mix both Whitty’s and Tricky’s rap style into his own to defeat BF in case he does defend GF.
