Ok but I’ve been rewatching the series, and her dad literally gave her so much attention to the point that Usagi felt left out and replaced. So- yeah I personally don’t like Chibi-USA’s character

They planned a surprise party) Wiseman manipulated her memories when she was on a low In Crystal there is a bit more: Chibiusa was always picked on because she was smaller and didn't have special powers like her mother. It was more envy on her mother because she was loved by everyone. Her father gave her attention, but it was still not enough for her. When she went to the door of time and met Pluto she was happy because she had someone that gave only her attention then, but one day Pluto talked with her father and smiled like she did with small lady (it is hinted that Pluto has a small crush on Mamoru (King endymion)). Another point was when she met Mamoru and didn't know he was her father that again he gave Usagi more attention than her (remember how she was treated in the future) that all went in her mind. So her reason for becoming black lady was mostly because she thought she needed to show people she was better than everyone. Hope it gave a bit informations

Chibiusa kept the real reasons of her sadness from everyone, she just cry saying the same thing "I'm nothing like my mother" which everyone reassures her and try to cheer her up but ultimately it didn't work. Children are just cruel when they're ready, I'm fairly certain it had a child that brought these things to everyone attention just to hurt chibiusa for whatever reason. Also the main reason that turn chibiusa to black lady was the need to feel wanted, jealousy did play a part but it wasn't the main one. She wanted people to solely need her which she got from Pluto. She explained that Pluto always looks lonely and a little sad until she shows up, she was happy knowing, form her knowledge, that Pluto only smiles for her then she caught Pluto being happy and smiling with her father which made her feel completely unwanted. She never imagined that Pluto would be happy without her, she wanted to be Pluto's only source of happiness (selfish I know but that's how she felt). Chibiusa relationship with her mother is complicated. She loves her mother, she idolise her but lowkey jealous her, she feels intimidated by her mother 'perfection' and she doesn't want to disappoint her and most of all she doesn't want her mother to know of her insecurities. Chibiusa has an inferiority complex telling her mother of her true feelings is like admitting defeat. So she kept everything to herself hence the reason she never told anyone she was being bullied. Everyone in the Palace showers her with affection she didn't understand why her mother stopped doing the same. The taunting of the bullies didn't help and eventually she started to believe them thinking her mother doesn't love her, she then starts to made up her own reasons why that's so while she ignored and didn't realise the things her mother does that showed her love. Nope, she has a crush on him. An innocent one. She's a little girl, and can't seem to fully realise that her young-not-yet-dad and her dad (as she's always known him), to be the same person. The same way she never seemed to see her mother as a teen/sailor moon and her mother as a queen, to be the same person either.
Black Lady is Sailor Moons and Tuxedos future daughter who was sent to the past and got corrupted. She always envied her mother for the attention that was stolen from her father.
