Grand Seiko still staying true with its precision polish, but the bracelet aesthetic is always been the last hurdle for me to pull that trigger. Not used to seeing Tim in glvoes though!
I recently purchased the White Birch, and it is by far the most comfortable bracelet of all of my watches which include Rolex,Omega, and Tudor. Not only is it comfy but I cannot see even the slightest micro scratches that all other watches get, especially around the clasp area. Worn it several times over past 2 months and it could pass as Mint under serious inspection. Most importantly I love the way that it looks as well

Seems that GS have improved this area, yet many negative comments on bracelets from years gone by seem to persist on the more modern improvements. Wonder if people actually try the watches on before passing judgement.
@@danhem100 wearing my sbge257 for over a year now since it release in H2 2020. Clasp gets scratched a bit too easily due to the lighter metal colouration, but depending on one’s wrist size, my 7 1/4 inch, I find it Impossible to get the right fit. In fact went up to maidenhead U.K. Seiko HQ to get it adjusted several time. I like my bracelet to be tight fitted and with wrist expanding through the day isn’t ideal. Oyster easy link solves that and so does the sizing of even a strap code endmill too. Comfort is improved, but it’s still behind Rolex oyster and president bracelet and I’ll even throw in the Sinn tegemented to be better in its comfort.
The biggest problem with Grand Seiko has always been the lack of micro adjustments in their clasps. If they would simply address this issue, I would own several Grand Seikos. Until they do, I’ll stick with Rolex ( I currently a 41mm Rolex Submariner, a 43mm Rolex Sea-Dweller, a 36mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual, and an Omega Planet Ocean). I’ve always wanted to add a few Grand Seikos to my collection, but it seems that Grand Seiko doesn’t want to listen to their potential customers. There’s no way I’m spending three, five, or eight grand on a Grand Seiko without micro adjustments in their clasps! Many people have complained about this and Grand Seiko is simply ignoring us, so fine, when it comes to a watch with a metal bracelet, we’ll look elsewhere. Rs
How is the thickness? Is it too thick to be worn under the cuff? I have a tissot small seconds with a thickness of 12mm and it’s just a tad thick on dress shirts so was curious about this one.

Considering you've got 6 likes, I assume there are a lot of people agreeing and personally, I agree as well. But something tells me they won't do it probably because it will ruin the knife-like aesthetics of the hands.
Beautiful piece Grand seiko is becoming a force to reckon with truly high quality. the four seasons are exceptional pieces. However, the SBGH 269 I think does not get the love it deserve....
Very nice indeed! It would make for a great daily wear. Love the GS specific multi-faceted black polished case, and the dial finishing of course. Gloves and no more wrist shots apparently...COVID-19 precautions?
The finishing looks especially expensive on this one. A beauty. Loving the gloves, handling a GS without them could be a little toe-curling with all that zaratsu polishing.
I very much want to like these watches, needs.. 1-2 mm thinner 1-2 mm wider (diameter) Bracelet needs more heft, so it matchs the solid, sturdy feel of the case

Beautiful finish work, amazing detail, hand-crafted elegance... and boring, with mediocre (at best) bracelets. Every time I get one on my wrist it just doesn't work. Really wish it did because you can tell how well made they are, but every time the opportunity has presented itself to purchase one (often at a great discount) I've passed.
