Glad you two are changing stereotypes that Caucasian women don't like to date or marry Asian men. The western media has propagated this racist stereotype by portraying Asian men as weak, shy, geeky, introverted emasculated men that are sexless. I am Chinese but born in Costa Rica living in California and unfortunately I've seen that those stereotypes do play a part in the dating world sometimes. Luckily I'm not shy and being born in the west, I don't see western women any different than other women though there are slight differences so to me dating them isn't a new thing and I'm not shy to approach them.
There is still a portion % of that is true however. But there is also the lingering misconception that white women assumes asian men aren't interested in them because they are hardly approached by them and such. I wonder which one outweighs the other.
