TRAIN MASTER Of course I'm talking about in the real world ,because of the extra weight at the top of the tower. It should always be lowered close to the bottom, it can be done with the chains you just pull the hydraulic rams in and lower it down it only takes seconds!
What a poor rendering of the hook!! No pulleys in the block; just a chunky hunk of metal with an eyelet. I don't understand why Conrad would fail so badly on the hook, when the rest of the model's details are (tolerably) decent. Conrad still hasn't updated their castings to meet with modern model standards. In "compensation" however, Conrad's models are priced rather high. TWH or NZG would have done much better, overall, in creating detail value model.

Why isn't there a Favelle Favco tower crane diecast model?? that's the only one worth owning really!
Models are made when the company making the real crane commissions them i.e. Liebherr. No Favelle Favco model because they don't want one :-(
