I have the black version of the white remote shown here and found my instructions; to synchronize the remote back to the bed you’ll have to press the “head down” button and the “foot up” button at the same time for up to 10 seconds. Push the button on the side of the control box (just press and release). This worked to immediately reset my bed. All other instructions in this video worked for me.

Thank you, Dosmoniique, for pointing that out and sharing with our community of subscribers. That’s correct, but only partially.
Approximately 95% of that remote type used the head up/ foot up buttons to program. However, Richmat did a software update on control boxes just before phasing out that remote and control box. The result was as you said, Head down and foot up to program the remote on a very small percentage of that type.

Mine seem to not program. But the motor makes a click sound wen I try. What should I do?

What is wrong if the DC indicator light isn't laminated but it's plugged up?
My dog unplugged the cable on my bed, it no longer works, it is a DC cable. I cannot fit under my bed I have to hire someone to come pick up. The only part I can reach is the one right on the edge and there is no spot for a DC cable, where does it go? I've looked over the manual in there is no where that explains what happens when something comes unplugged.

Spent $1500.00 on bed and mattress. A month later, bed quit moving up or down. Wife was mad. We slept on it flat for 8 months. I was confident it was remote related but didn’t know how to program. Today , I continued watching your video and your clear instructions assisted me to reprogram the bed. Now it works again like a charm.

What should I do if my bed is plugged in but the power box isn’t lit? None of the button resets are working for me.
If I’m reading this correctly, sounds like you have a bad power supply and that explains why nothing will work.

I have an HJC 26. The bed is not working. The control box, under the bed, has a power indicator light. That light isn't on. Does this mean my control box is bad?
Yes. The indicator light must be on if there is power going to it. Be sure that your power supply lights up green. Contact us during business hours and we will help you figure it out.

Just curious if the HJC56ble control box is a older or newer item? Recently purchased a BT3000LP and that is the box on it.
It’s not necessarily an older control box, it’s just a control box that is specifically used for Bed Tech Adjustable Beds.

Like another comment, I have the black remote (via Nectar, from 2018) and it required headDown + footUp + reset button on control module. Oddly it didn't work the first 2-3 times I tried, and I then tried "up" buttons for head & foot, just in case. The 4th time I hit all 3 simultaneously and the module beeped immediately (not after 10 secs) ... hmmm, go figure? Anyway, this occurred after my 2nd set of batteries died, so my new guess is another year or two from now I may have to reset the remote w/ new batteries. Thanks to this video + other comments, no replacement parts needed (yet)!

Might try holding down the "lock" button for 10 seconds to unlock. Might have locked by accident.
Thank you for the video. I have a Casper promax platform with an NS 500 B controller. Everything seems to work except the motor at the head of the bed called the headrest motor. There are three motors. One for the foot, one for the head, and one for the headrest. When I switch out the head and the headrest motors the headrest motor will work. I’ve tried everything on the remote and don’t see how the headrest moves. It will only move if I switch the inputs
A friend just gave me a six month old Richmat bed and it doesn't work. When you plug it in the controller lights up fo about 20 seconds then shuts off. I put new batteries in the remote but can't figure out how to pair it. There doesn't seem to be a button on the controller to push along with the remote
The p/n on the remote is HJC26 and the controller p/n is ML150.

I don't have my bed yet, but if the light turns on for about 20 seconds then turns off, it could be it didn't detect any "signal" on the control box and gave up, so perhaps your control box is bad. Have you tried the troubleshooting steps in the video?

Hi Doc. I was hoping you could help me figure out what bed I have to begin with. My daughters bought it as a gift and there was no remote and no power supply with it. No numbers on the bed. Just a Richmat learn box underneath the bed. I would assume it doesn't matter what kind of bed it is as long as I have the correct remote and power supply with it, correct? I tried looking up the remote I would need by the control box item number but there are so many I'm confused. If I could give you the information and maybe you could help me? I have the glass top version of the richmat HJ137. I just replaced the remote because I thought it was broken, but maybe it’s the bed. Nothing happens. The remote won’t pair. Please help. I can’t find any videos with my type of remote.
Hi Susan, unfortunately we see problems with the Richmat HJ137 remote almost constantly. The problem with those are the chipsets. These were chipsets acquired during Covid that were flawed, and the problem is very pervasive. The only thing we can do is replace the control box and remote with the new system. Please contact us for more personalized service. We deal with these beds all the time.
First off, great video! My snore and zerograv button on my remote work and move the bed but when I push the foot or head buttons, there is only a click and no bed movement. Any idea what could be happening?
I had to by a new Richmat hjh55 remote and it will not sync. I also tried to copy from my husbands remote. Is there a different trick for a new remote?
If you bought the remote on Amazon or eBay, that’s your problem. Those remotes do not run the same frequency as your control box. Contact our office for help selecting the correct remote.

My Richmat bed wouldn't operate, so I blamed it on the control box and remote. After 2 days I noticed the AC/DC adapter took two 9volt batteries that were missing. Once I put them in and followed the reset instructions it now works perfect.
I have the remote shown at the far left and the one which you demonstrate saying to push the head up and foot up buttons simultaneously. However, please note, you are pushing the head up [top left] and head DOWN [top right] buttons at the same time, not the head up and foot up [which is just below the head up button, not to the right of it] which you say are to be simultaneously pressed. So, which is it, the head up [top left] and head down [top right] or the head up [top left] and foot up [second row left]?

Hi great videos. I have a genesis bed and it wasnt working so my husband looked underneath and pressed a code reset button on the code box... and now the bed has everything on. Lights, head and foot vibration and it will not stop. I'm unplugged and repluged but cant make it stop...the remote will not turn on or turn off anything.. 😓

My remote model is HJH55B and we cannot pair our other remote. We were given 2 remotes during the install but no clue where we put the manual during our out state move . We called corporate office and they have removed the HJH55B Mattress Firm Rest and Relax manuals from their systems. We’ve owned our bed frame for only 3 years. Seems odd they we can’t find instructions online anywhere. UA-cam videos don’t even show our remote model. I tried your method by pressing the up and down buttons simultaneously with the learn button. No beep. Could you help me please?
By the way we have 2 bases to pair with the remote because we have a king size bed.
