    Very interesting to see this, I wish my dad was still alive. Grew up Frostproof FL. My dad would do this on Lake Walk-in-Water, Reedy Lake, Livingston Lake as long as I can remember.

    Now that's what I call fun. I love Alabama. My largest came out of Weiss Lake years ago when I contracted for a year with T.V.A. She was just barely under 3 lbs. Man, it was cold that day.

    sorry you feel that way, but side pulling and spider rigging with multiple poles is a very very popular way to fish for crappie across the U.S.

      ExtremeAnglerTV and just because its popular doesn't make it very sporting.

      It's for the food, same guys usually go out and fish with one rod some, too. This works to catch your limit when your harvesting.

      @@mikewest712 so that's there business. I fish with with 20 poles

      @@maryclouser3748 every state and lake has different rules and creel limits, as they do sizes to catch and keep. To each its own I say.

      B n M Poles rods made for side pulling with fluorocarbon line; they are called 'The Difference by Roger Gant' who pioneered this deadly technique of trolling for crappie.

    Where is the fun at when using heavy rods for a fish less then 12 inches?🤦‍♂️

    • @ExtremeAnglerTV
      @ExtremeAnglerTV  7 років тому

    • @deltapromasterlauj4848
      @deltapromasterlauj4848 7 років тому

      Actually I do, I was just making a point.....it's like fishing for large mouth bass using an offshore rod, takes the fun out of fighting the fish! I'm just saying....

    • @ExtremeAnglerTV

      this technique requires the casting set ups- I understand as well, I do like catching them with a ultra light, but sometimes that is not the best course of action.

    • @ExtremeAnglerTV
      @ExtremeAnglerTV  8 років тому

      +Royce Burt trolling motor is mounted on the side of the boat- it is a very popular way of control depth trolling for crappie

    • @burtvillefarms

    • @ExtremeAnglerTV
