Thank you for this golden advice. The heavy duty clips is the whole reason I never popped the panels on cx5’s when tinting them And that front side sucks unless you pull the panel.
Thank you for this, I broke that part that you said be careful or it will brake….is there a part number or door kit that I can replace it with….2017 cx5 but everything looks similar this 2021, thank you

The tip about that last upper corner clip was real time saver, and allowed for a flawless reinstall of the panel.
I just broke them every time and bought replacements because I couldn't figure it out. Great tip indeed!
@zackmx1 where did you buy them from? I just broke one today.
I think you'd have to buy them from the dealer. I'm not sure if an aftermarket one will be easy to find

does the rear door have the same HD clip as the fronts?
In terms of just needing to realign the bottom clips would I need to like take the whole panel off?
You should be able to slide your fingers in there and shift it to the right spot. They shift a few millimeters sometimes
