I'm one of the ones saying I feel bad for him. I never believed he was 'controlling' or 'abusive' or any of the BS. That's a broad assumption to make.
weflyy ofcourse it’s different if you did understand where he was coming from before with the tommy and Lucie thing and feeling bad for him now. But MOST people I saw had this opinion of him being ‘controlling’ etc ( I never said abusive btw?) and now those people have switched up as soon as he left.

i love how people who slated him are now changing their minds. i never once thought he was the bad guy. i'm a good judge of person it's literally the same with amy and how everyone turned on her and now all changing their minds after she left. and now we have people judging molly saying she's playing a game but if you watched her youtube videos on her channel you'll see that she's actually a really funny and kind person. people just love to judge on shows like this and think the worst of everyone and think everyone is playing a game. i've been on a reality show in the past and i can 100 percent say that it is impossible to play a game when the cameras are on you 24/7 if you were to have a game plan you would slip up or grow out of it within the first 2 days

Feel bad now cos the things he thought about Lucy and Tommy were just a little premature for my eyes but true all along. I don't think he is controlling, he was doing the same thing that Molly is now, holding onto her 'partner'. If you really like someone, you wouldn't want them looking elsewhere, and you can just tell he really cares about Lucy still. Joe's a sound guy.

i hate her and Tommy so much you don't even understand. Tommy was framed as an angel since the beginning and Joe was framed as a bad guy when really it was the other way around. when Joe did something wrong he always apologized and sticked with what he said, Tommy always played the girls, literally since the very beginning and got no consequence for his actions and the show never villanized him like he deserved, he even got joe's girl (kind of) at the end, life is so unfair Istg. but that's what you can and should expect from a reality show when they have a millionaire and a "sandwich boy", the money will always win at the end, such a shame.
I knew Lucie was trash the moment she stayed on the show AFTER becoming exclusive with Joe... girl WHAT? She thought she was all that and a bag of chips, only for Tommy to reject her after she said they were 'just friends' 🥴

Sorry, but let's not re-write history because we think Joe is a nice guy (I agree, he is a nice guy, who got carried away). Watching the show you can see specific instances where Joe tried to manipulate Lucie in order to keep her away from other guys and get her to spend more time with the girls (in order to keep her away from the other guys). He was the one that suggested that Lucie should sleep on the sofa or daybed if Tommy recoupled with her. So Tommy and Lucie were the ONLY couple who didn't share a bed, if they had their feelings for each other would have gotten much stronger and the season would have been very different. He also bullied her into not even speaking to Tommy after the recoupling and, like an elementary school boy, tried to make her jealous with Amber (which totally backfired). Talk about playing mind games. He was punching way above his level with Lucie and was doing whatever he could to hang on. Obviously she had real feelings for Tommy but she took the easy path at the recoupling and picked Joe (her eyeroll gives it away as not being her first choice) because I think she could see Tommy had an immediate attraction to Molly and she didn't want to get into another triangle (or square). Also, by the time Joe left and got out of the way, Molly and Tommy had survived Maura and were strong together so Lucie had lost her chance. It was very telling that in her departure interviews about her Love Island journey (on and off camera), she mentioned her feelings for Tommy, and possibly still pursuing him in the future (if he and Molly broke up), but didn't even mention Joe. Just glad Tommy found Molly, and Lucie found Luke M, both couples seem very much in love.
Oh! Joe and Lucy are going to end up together!! Just wait!! They have that instant soul thing! Tommy is only reason her and Joe would not!!! There is more of the potential “love story” with Tommy.
I think all three of these people are good people and anyone would be lucky to get together whether just friends or more!!!
Amber is a lot of work!! She is 21!! Immature 21. Think she will get better with age. And do think Michael is good guy.
I’m not a “player” type person. I could not handle playing this game...unless I started it by stating out loud to everyone there, “ I am looking at this like a game!! Not going to play mean however!! Will only play honest!!” I might not get far...but IF meet REAL love interest, YEAH!! If actually make it to very end, YEAH!! But the experience, socializing, fun, would be my goal!! Screw anyone’s judgements!!
