I love this house! I think it was so ahead of its time it still feels perfectly modern today. Update the appliances and that's it. It's timeless beauty! 😊

Not typically a fan of the whole mid-century modern form, of which this house was an early offshoot. But honestly, it really does work well for the environment.

It's nice when the surroundings are also mid-century. It doesn't look good when it's mixed into an older neighborhood. Also I only like mid-century homes if they're furnished as such. It looks weird when there is an eclectic style from many decades in a Mod mid-century home.

I like it. Not a fan of old baroque stuff.

I'm a huge Frank Lloyd Wright fan. Sinatra's mid century home definitely pays homage to FLW sleek, clean lined, contemporary style. Twin Palms just exudes the Palm Springs vibe. Great video!

The architecture of this home was definitely ahead of its time! To have the in-ground pool shaped as a piano in front of the home is brilliant. I can only imagine how beautiful it looked in the evening. Thank you, loved this video.

Not my kind of thing, but I have to admit: it is a seasoned style that totally makes sense. 🌴🌴

I visited the house and the neighborhood, and live in the area for a year, Palm Springs, Cathedral, Indio, and is my favorite living experience in the USA. I need to hit the lottery to, move into old Sinatra's neighborhood. thank you for the memories. love the Palm Spring airport. saludos

The first home I lived in as a child was mid-century modern home. From birth to 4 years of age. I used to ride my tricycle down the long hallway, lol! 😅 It was a lovely first home complete with mid-century modern furniture.
Then we moved to what I consider the family home. As all my siblings were born there. It remained in my Dad's possession until I was 30. At that point my Dad sold our beautiful Georgian style mansion to retire in KY. I wish I'd been able to buy it from my Dad. We were worlds apart in income, lol! 😊❤😊

Gorgeous house perfectly suited to it's stunning setting.
I suppose the house designer went on to further commissions in Palm Springs ?
I wonder if any Hollywood stars live here these days....

Too bad the modern interior decor doesn’t amaze…but classic mid century, perfect for the environment.

None of the decor is original. The most interesting thing that is original is his audio equipment.

His least known album is called "Watertown". Every song tells the story of a Watertown, NY man who is left by his wife. I had never heard about it before until a few years ago and that's only because I happen to do local history for Watertown. Not his best album, but still interesting to listen to the story.

Frank disliked that Home and blamed it for his problems at the time, best he should have looked in the mirror.

Looks like a lot of business offices around here where I live. Aside from the swimming pool. Personally I think it's ugly.
