Hi Paul, Going off of your 3rd mistake. Is there a recommendation from you of how many items to list, per week for example?. And is it a good habit to also get rid of items that aren't doing so well like out of 10 items take away 3 of them? thanks Marti

If you are located in the EU and selling to the UK or, for example, to Norway, these customers need to pay VAT and duties, which fees are typically collected by eBay and then you need to add a code on the package indicating "paid" to inform customs that the taxes have already been settled? How the drop-shipper handle this ?
While I have many students who do live outside the USA and are able to dropship successfully, I'm based in the USA and I'm a citizen here so the course is coming from that perspective. I don't have enough insight to show exactly what to do if you're not in the same position as I am.
I don't get pricing. Why would someone buy an item from your store where the price is higher to offset your costs and could get the same item cheaper from Walmart or werewver? How does that work?
It comes down to convenience. People are used to shopping on eBay and Amazon and don't want to shop anywhere else. It's the same reason people pay $2 for a can of soda from a vending machine when you can buy a case of soda from the supermarket and they end up costing $0.50 each. People don't want to shop around or learn how to use another website :-)

I would like to comment about tracking #s. I ordered an item from ebay. Several days before it was supposed to arrive I got a message from the seller saying it had been delivered. I had not received the package and I'm sure it was not stolen. I checked with the USPS and they had not delivered the item. I messaged the seller and ebay with this information and they sent me back the tracking information from an offshore delivery service and the stock response from ebay about checking with my neighbors, etc. They also said to file a claim with the delivery service but there was no way to do this. A few days later ebay asked if I had received the package I said no and they refunded my purchase price. If the package ever shows up I'll contact the seller.

what the heck did you sell for 1000?? keep in mind that you need to watch out for returns. I have a job and credit card but i cant seem to find items that will profit me more than 4-5$ per item becasue ebay seems so saturated and every item you want to sell, there are already at least 10 sellers selling that item with 2-3$ profit margin
Started dropping and it was a complete disaster. Probably gonna receive bad feedback. I have 100% now. Probably gonna lose that. Can you tell me anything to try a save my 100% feedback. I’m just a grandmother trying to make extra money to pay bills.

I sell my own products and dropship items as well, is this not a good idea or does it not really impact your account? And you never mentioned if deleting listings from eBay impacts your account or not?
I don't see that as being a problem. Deleting a listing can only hurt you if it's an item that's selling well. If the item isn't selling, deleting it is a good thing because it increases your sell through rate!

Walmart does not provide tracking number. How do you deal with this problem when you dropship on ebay?
You need to use a service like TrackTaco
But how u gonna send it to your client if in ebay ask u to send it from ups?
eBay doesn't make you use any particular carrier

If you're losing money then you're doing something wrong. Everyone on eBay pays fees so you have to add it to the price you sell it for
@@PaulJLipsky In my experience the final value fee is what kills my profits and it varies even though I sell the same item.
