I'm in love with my butterball turkey fryer and will never use an oven in life to cook a turkey .I recommend to everyone who doesn't have one get u one immediately.
David makes these videos worth every minute. He's so entertaining. "South in your mouth". Lol. I love this Butterball Masterbuilt xxl Turkey fryer. I need something huge. I have a big family.
Had the first fried turkey using this product this Thanksgiving 2020. The turkey was so brown, juicey and flavorful. My niece cooked it and said she will never cook a turkey any other way again. I roasted two fryers to get the juices to make the dressing. I took the the neck and giblets from the turkey to make the giblet gravy. This Turkey Fryer have made a believer out me.☺️👏👏👏
Make sure to take it out of the box and test it asap. Bought one from Walmart this year. Broken out of the box. Would not turn on. Likely the completely unneeded safety switch is defective. Spent quite a bit of time and effort trying to troubleshoot it. Everything in the area closed for Thanksgiving so no exchange possible and had to put it in the oven. Thanks Masterbuilt.
Had this fryer for two years now, FYI make sure you use it in room that you can fry in safely and setup a table a Sun Room would be perfect or a room you can vent by opening the windows afterwards or during if the weather permits because your entire kitchen is going to smell like deep fried turkey oil for a long time if you use it in an enclosed room like a kitchen..or your going to be running that little fart fan above the stove for a really long time...Outside of that this thing is awesome and very easy to use.
This thing is the truth!! For those who wanna fry a turkey but skeptical or scared of propane, this is the best investment for you!! It's much safer & easier than a propane fryer. Dishwasher safe, the magnetic card is a safety mech, way much quicker than roasting in a oven, not to mention, it frees up oven space. Also come w/an attachable spout to drain your oil, & also it made for indoors, though I use mine outdoors, just because I don't like the smell of grease lingering around my house.
TIP ⊙⊙⊙ Add minutes to cook time for better results. 4 minutes per pound isnt enough for that total bone done bird. I do about a extra 8 to 10 minutes for a 20lb bird.
How does the seasoning stay on when you fry with all that oil bubbling in there ? How long do you keep the turkey in that warm bath before you put it in the fryer ?
i brine mine about a day or two Rodelle makes a great turkey brine but there is others or search google,Bing or whatever search engines for turkey brine recipes
I found one at goodwill. Looked emaculate. It was 35 bucks. Thought it was a steal. I checked it at the store but the heating element didn't get hot enough to burn my fingers so I didn't buy it. I wonder if the "safety technology " kept it from burning me. Does anybody have an answer to that? I told them not to sell it because it didn't work right. I also read the comments and seen comments that the unit is only good for one time, or that they left it in for 2 hours and it did nothing. Glad I dodged a bullet.
That turkey is dried out. It doesn't even look good. I've cooked my turkey in this thing and I've had great results. The turkey here looks awful!! The skin isn't even done.
I wish they'd spend more time on talking about how to switch from the heat mode to the fry mode and less time on showing the food that it cooked it would help the people actually buy it I write a simpler guide
Rosilie I agree 100%. The instruction booklet is not clear. The basics are these once you hit the light and it starts blinking you hit the “F” key and the H will start to blink. Once that happens you must wait until the Green Light goes on at that time you can drop in your turkey as they describe.
so delicious ! we are a professional chef knife factory , we also have some new chef knives, can you help us to test it and make a video show pls? i can send you the sample
I am not sure if turkey skin is hard or not. Why do not you show us and people that you cut wings and legs. But you cut only breast. I need to look at whole. I do not get wrong before i buy. Thank you..
Buyer beware. This are very cheaply built and have a switch inside the control panel that will suddenly stop working and unless you are willing to take it apart and rewire, you'll be out of luck.

Excited about receiving mines! Can't wait to make my Fried Turkey this Thanksgiving Yum! :) And excited about making seafood boil!!!!
Did it work?
Mines are where gold is mined. "Mines" is plural for Mine.......meaning more than one mine. I think what you meant to say was "Mine" referring to you.
Lol

These fryers need longer cords
the cords are short for safety reasons

Do you have the new digital one or do you have the one with the knob that turns up the temperature
You roast a Turkey not bake.

Tbirdclass Ohio I cook bone in breasts. Preheat at 375. Lower in Bird. Lower temp to 325. Cook 7 minutes per pound. Recipe via Masterbuilt.

Works great for frying. It's not a good steamer.
Kyle P good to know. Thx
That's David Venable, not Albany Irvin.

michael lennon are you serious?
Totaly
michael lennon what happened did it not turn on?
We've used ours several times, and it performs beautifully. Besides, we bought ours at Costco, so if it backs out, we'll get another free!
I've used mine for over 2 years....at least twice month. No issues.
Buyer beware. This are very cheaply built and have a switch inside the control panel that will suddenly stop working and unless you are willing to take it apart and rewire, you'll be out of luck.
So far I don't like it .
