Yea Jen would have been arrested already. Ppl are thinking with their emotions (and their smooth brains) instead of using reason. We all want her thrown under the bus, but the crimes just ain't there. Maybe they'll finally change the laws to allow parents like her prosecuted.... there's thousands of Jens out there and they never get in trouble for being absentee, negligent parents. Almost every time a child is abused it's by a family member or friend....why don't the parents know? Why does it keep happening every day to some poor kid?

If you read the emails, you can clearly see how this guy got to be a man child narcissist sociopath, from the way he is catered to, and his mother has never once held him accountable for any of his transgressions. She has thrown everyone under the buss for him his whole life. She even blanes Jen's family for doing this to her poor baby son....while they suffer the loss of their family member at the hands of this monster.
I couldn't tell if it was from previous bad mouthing of Jen or if it was something based on what he told them after he was arrested for the crime. The dirtbag will never take accountability. His parents are certainly in MAJOR denial stage.
Wow.. I think you're right. Jen mentioned the black shorts because she knew it was "gym day" like every monday. SS didn't know that, because it was always Jen who took Maddie to school. Except for that monday.
So he tried to change the jeans (that he put on her dead body) for the black shorts. If I remember correctly black shorts were on the inventory list of the car (SS's ). So maybe he planned to change them but it was too difficult and/or too risky, so didn't do it and that why the shorts were in his car?

I cannot explain why there was no hit on his car, besides that sometimes the dogs "get it wrong". Yet, Maddie was in the front seat too for at an hour or so. You would think there was enough of a scent there for the dogs to pick up.
About the shorts, I can look it up. Could have been his own pair of course.

Sterns, the idiot, unknowingly recorded all his comings and goings for LE. His parents still enable him by sending him books and money to the jail, denying their little boy could do those things. They may have something there about Jenn, for we know what a horrible mother she was. Without her complicity, it all wouldn't have happened to Maddie.

He didn't go back for his 'clicker', he went back to get a change of clothes, or at least a diff shirt. Bet he dumped his old shirt in the dumpster, too. It's possible she 'leaked' fluids on his clothes or he knew she would when he picked her up to move to the trunk.
The other trips - he has had time to think and calm down a bit so he probably got cleaning supplies, spray, paper towels, etc. And he probably went back to the body site to wipe her clean and double check for anything he might have dropped with dna on it- soda cans or whatever. All the cleaning materials would have gone into the dumpster.

There's only three logical reasons for him to return to the crime scene. 1) He remembered he left something incriminating against himself there that he wanted to get rid of. 2) He wanted to plant evidence there to incriminate someone else, namely JS. 3) In addition to all the other horrible things SS is, he's also a necro.file.
These days there are cameras on almost every street corner in most cities. That's not even including security cameras owned by businesses and homeowners. People who think they can commit heinous crimes and not get caught are so ignorant.

I'm from Europe and everyone knows American prisons/judiciary don't play...how come they don't make him show kicking and screaming, they do this in Europe, no choice
@@Weebay_213in American court (and most courts internationally) you have the option to waive appearance at hearings and let your counsel go in your place. You’re not needed at those hearings and the people who go are usually either uninformed or they want the fame of being seen for all of 8 minutes.
@@Weebay_213 My understanding was that prosecution wanted Sterns to remain confined. He was too big a risk if he left solitary confinement. My opinion is also that someone might take this man out, or that he’d do something to make law enforcement shoot in to stop him assaulting someone in order to run. I’m fine with his absence from court. He’s so manipulative he’d do something to stop or delay a trial. Then try to litigate against someone else!
@Weebay_213 oh he will have to show his face for the actual proceedings. The appearances he is currently waiving are merely administrative stuff. Moving him in and out of solitary and keeping him safe from the numerous dangerous and violent criminals in jail who would love to make their reputation off of hurting him, would be quite the task. Our jail staff is already overworked and underfunded. But when it's time for his plea or trial, we will see him then, whether he wants us to or not.

I think he went back to relocate her body. Where he dumped her was a horrible spot for concealment; he panicked when he got the flat tire, threw her in haste in the bamboo and got out of there on the first trip. He returned in the middle of the night to attempt to get rid of her body but ended up being too cowardly/weak/squeamish/whatever to get the task done and limped back home to Jen. (Who, yes, I believe, knew.) I imagine the second trip is when he settled for throwing dead grass over her to hide her further

Due to flat tire, perhaps he originally dumped Maddie's body not too far from the street or not in an ideal hidden location. Maybe he went back to move her to a better spot in that general field area? (Same general area as earlier, just hidden better perhaps.)
There were lots of cleaning products ifound n his car. He was probably cleaning the car and dumping the used materials.

Seems as though his parents have always been enabling him. They probably were told some stories on his unusual behavior. Maybe even by his sister.? But they dont seem to actually believe or they are in denial. Madeline will not ever have to suffer at anyones hands again. This case makes me so angry at this POS SS. No telling what he went back that night for. I am glad he was so stupid, this helped law enforcement out and hopefully justice will be handed down. Thanks Gray. Great information!

Janine, JS allowed SS to abuse Maddie from the time she was eight years old. They had just started dating when she put that monster in bed with Maddie. She’s as complicit as he is and I believe that she’s as culpable as he is. I think she helped. 🥺😢❤️🩹

Jean, of course he was. It’s the only thing he can do to try to save himself. He planned that from the moment he decided to kill Maddie, in my opinion.
Stephen is not very bright. Remember his original story is abduction. If it's trash day he completely forgot about cctv cans was just hoping the landfill would get rid of evidence. Other moron criminals have used dumpsters to get rid of evidence with cctv cameras or witnesses. Didn't watch enough CSI crime shows. I feel terrible for Maddie a sweet good girl who became a victim to a selfish loser predator on rve of her teenage years. His behaviors are useful to plot his state of mind and how these monsters think.
He went out there again after he talked to her, then I think he retrieves something from the dumpster that they both noticed he forgot about, and brings it back to where he left Maddie. Both are corroberating at this point. Thanks Gray.

I don’t think he got a flat tire while dumping her body. I think he had to dump her because he got a flat tire. There were at least 3 bodies of water near that location, one named alligator lake and one at the end of the street he was on. Maybe he went back to move her to water where she’d be less likely to be found, but was unsuccessful.

Thanks Gray, these short, but informative videos are great. I'm retired but get phone calls, friends drop in etc... even though I try to watch the shows, having to stop and start several times, the info can become disjointed. I watched the live on this and the conversations were so every day, like nothing out of the ordinary was happening, I could hardly believe it! Sterns hasn't been smart and agree, he's going home in an urn... I'm just waiting to see what he was dumping, seems like he couldn't decide what to dump... also waiting to see if Jenn joins him at his new address.
As for his second trip to the crime scene, I think you're right, he could well have changed the long pants for the "black shorts"...

Jeffrey Dahmer's father still loved his son after the crimes where revealed he even felt responsible for how warped Jeffrey became as adult. He visited Jeff in prison kept in touch by phone. It's a parents love for their kid.
Dysfunctional family dynamics in the case of both. Stephan also had head injury as child. Brain damage could explain a lot about his immaturity and overprotective mother.
