HOA's don't mind going to count because it's not their money.
HOAs are a bloody stupid idea. Thankfully they don't exist in Scotland. There may be some minor rules based on a neighbourhood group but our law system would never allow the abusive operation we hear of so often here. If anyone approached trying to enforce such rules they'd get a "See you, Jimmy. FO!"

This story did remind me of when my kids and I babysat a friend's dog. her family and her were going on vacation, and didn't want to put the dog in a dog kennel since last time they had she got ill. she didn't live too far so I told her we'd be more than happy to go there and spend time with the pup. she told us my kids could watch tv, so my kids saw that as another win. I was just happy with the central AC in her house. the pup was always glad to see us, and we'd play with her, let her in the yard, etc etc. She called me after her vacation and asked me why we hadn't eaten any of the treats she left for us on the kitchen table. I told her we didn't know the treats were for us. We went on to babysit the dog multiple times, and she always reminded us that the treats on the kitchen table were for us. I just remembered one detail none of us ever thought of at the time. She had a pool too which we never stepped foot in while they were on vacation. then again if we not going to eat treats that were in plain site what are the odds we'd remember a pool that was in the backyard lol
@Jerseybytes2 You are a great parent to have raised children that don't think to take or use anything they've gotten direct permission to use. It's unfortunately a rarity in today's world.

We had grapes growing in our yard and we harvested them to make grape jelly. It was a fun time for my sister me and friends and I wish I had taken photos of all of the kitchen cabinets open with cheesecloth bags hanging to drip cooked grape juice before we would squeeze more out. We used melted wax to seal the top of the jars and enjoyed grape jelly for months. Still love grape jam.

my brother used to leach of me as well, if I had to service my car, usually just an oil change, he would take my oil and do his with it, saving him the cost of the oil, so I decided to buy my oil, 2 filters and 2 large jugs of canola cooking oil, they both looked the same, I used a heat gun to soften the plastic cap off the oil, used it in my service and replaced the oil from that with the canola oil, heated up the cap again and snaped it on so it looked unopened, and placed it in my usual spot, when by brother got home he noticed the oil and filter sitting out thinking I was getting ready for a service, he snagged it and drove off, to do his service at a mates place, it did not take long to turn into a congealed mess.
when he complained to dad that I sabotaged his car, I came clean saying that the oil was not for him, it was to be mixed with ethanol for when my friend came over in his old diesel volvo, he wanted some canola oil for fuel.
I just got asked to label them next time, but my brother knew otherwise, he had to snap the seal on the lid, he was bitter about it for ages but left my stuff alone after that.
I wonder who inside-out lady was having her "adult time" with? The little girl's father? Another man? Another woman? Hmmm.....
It wasn't the little girl's father bc the story made it seem like he had to drive a bit to pick her up. Maybe a split custody situation or like you said, mom is cheating.

Pool story: OP is absolutely within his rights to be angry, and I would have banned the guy too. But he's so scandalized by nudity that it's almost comical, and he writes like he ate a thesaurus, so he comes off a pompous ass. He's in the right, but still.
The readers need to hire a consultant to record the writing so that the readers learn how to pronounce English. It is great that you are learning a foreign language. The shame is that the readers appear to be hicks and uncouth.
story 6 the man and his friend staying at the hotel and goes swimming in the hotel pool and playing games with the gusset and the kids with parents permission and a 6 year old girl what’s to play too in the pool and the inside top mother is a sleeping and not watching her gets annoyed hotel staff woke her up to take care of her kids and damaged to know who said she could go swimming she had floaters on and caught a fight and punched somebody and got arrested and the girl dad came and got her that mother is nuts does her daughter even know how to swim what happens if she can’t she might drown and there’s a parent to supervisor’s or in the pool with her you can’t just leave them by themselves that’s irresponsible parenting if you’re child is going swimming you have to watch them even with a pool fence it’s so easy for them to just fall in and drown thank god she didn’t and thank god the father came and got her 😡😠🤬🤔🫣🏊♀️🩱
story 1 the homeowner goes away to see family and the neighbour collects your mail for you and betrays your trust and have a naked pool party with his friends and family you should of called the police for being nude in public and child in dangerment letting children see naked adults and get the neighbour to pay for the pool to be cleaned gross 😡😠🤬🤔🤢🤮🫣
