And you'll know even truer terror when you see, "The Sorcerous Energies Within The Wailing Soul Are About to Burst!" going into the fight completely blind.
This completely blew me away. I haven't actually played the first Octopath, but just completed the 2nd yesterday (and Galdera) and I wanted to compare the music. Insane how good this track is. The opera completely nails it.
The second game is amazing in it's own right but I am begging you to go play the first one RIGHT NOWWW I've played both and love them almost equally but the first's soundtrack is just so much more idk it just makes me FEEL things lol. The riverlands especially- I listen to it to calm down.
I think 0:39 - 0:50 needs a revision, it seems to be more like: "ipse rapti, ipse partum. raptum ipse, rapti partum. ipse rapti partum. ipse venti partum, ignis partum" which I think would roughly translate to: "These were taken, these have left*. Taken, these were, taken from birth. These were taken from birth. These were born of wind**, born of fire" *note that the word "partum", while typically meaning "departed", may also be used as an euphemism for childbirth. ** Knowing the different possible uses of the word "partum", and how the word "venti" (wind) could easily be confused with "ventri" (womb), it's plausible it might actually be "ipse ventri partum", or "these have left the womb", in which case the double meaning of "partum" would be acknowledged as both "departure" and "childbirth"
@@kaden-sd6vb Unfortunately no. It's not too bad once I get into a rhythm and start playing scout like the game ULTRAKILL, but I do get stressed any time I hear an acid spitter spit, which I've now learned to pick out of the din of violence, and my response is to chaotically walk in various directions so they lead their shots and miss. Tressa as a Rune Knight must be one of the most satisfying characters I've played in a JRPG, I miss her

I had similar feelings when I played Agnea as Armsmaster (:

Having Eliza as one of your Summons during the Final Boss?
Nice, I did the same, along with Z'aanta.

Good lord, elite stage 3 duck and cover sounds HORRIFYING.

letting you actually use your whole party in the final boss fight was an incredibly good choice that not enough jrpgs do
Thanks for making the lyrics. I like to understand the meaning of ost so epics. Now I just have to see how to translate Latin xD
There's a reddit post translating it but it's not a perfect translation.
