Lost one of my dogs a couple of years back. He was a chihuahua named Batman. Fed him by bottle since he was first born. He died in mh arms at 17 yrs old. I still break down when i think of him. He took a piece of my heart with him.

Your emotions is what makes you real! And that dog is you family member. When I lost my first Yorkie. I even gave her mouth to mouth. She is stuck in my soul for ever. She had seizure's, and when she had one no matter where in the house she was at she would come right to me. Here's something else for you guys. You might think I' am off my rocker but it's true! After she died for the longest time when sitting in my chair. I would feel something touching my legs. Than when I realized what it was I spoke out loud and said it's okay I love you too.
I was told once.... They not be with us all our lives, but we are there for them all of there's. Sending hugs and prayers for pug as the rainbow bridge is Doggie heaven I believe. Pets are definitely family members. This whole year has been hard on me 😢 I lost my nanny in February. I lost my mom in May and me having heart problems all at 37, the stress sure ain't helping me. My mom was here at my house last year on Christmas and I never thought in a million years it would of been our last. Christmas is gonna be really hard. I love watching yall beautiful family. Chevy passed and then Smokey took a stroke a week later and we had to put him down. Chestnut took a stroke and Copper died of a heart issue. Love you guys! Beautiful family!

It’s ok to grieve for the pet. In 2020 I lost my shih Tzu. Bruce and I had been out of town a few days and came home pick up our dogs from vet/ kennel and Bruce pulled in the driveway and dog jumped out of car and hit chest on pavement and must of fractured something next day we got up and he was laying on his bed dead. I did not freak but I sobbed and was at loss for a few months. He was a great dog. We had a terrier mix that found us 5 years before and kept our shih Tzue company. 3 months later Bruce took me to the rescue shelter and I saw a chihuahua /mix cutest thing ever huddled over in corner. There were other chihuahuas there in kennel with him. I ask to see the dog. Well the rest is history. 3 yrs later and this dog is a huge joy. The kennel said his name is Roman. Our Terrier/mix love him. They bonded so well. It’s almost as if God said that’s your dog. It takes everyone time to grieve or morn over the loss of a pet. Think of the memories you had. My indoor cat lived 221\2 yrs old then got cancer and died. He was a long hair big cat. I cried for 2 yrs. Over Alex. He was my buddy. Some time I still cry.

I'm so very sorry about your sweet Pugley, Megan!! I lost my precious 12 year old Chihuahua a year ago and it still hurts like it was yesterday!! I took her in expecting to get antibiotics or some kind of meds and take her home thinking she would be just fine. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be leaving the vet's office that day without her!! Your right, they most definitely are family members!!
We had our dog for 17 years and he had that type of cancer too. It hurts so bad I know. He was one of the best friends I ever had. My heart still hurts for my fur babies that have crossed over. I think they are angels that come into our lives to teach us how to love. They are forever in our heart. ❤🙏

I totally understand my son and daughter in law lost 2 of their fur babies last year one in June she was a alaskan malamute she was 6 years old and in November they lost their beautiful Bernice mountain dog she was 4 year old and I have most hardest time with the loss of her! All your hard work is showing. My granddaughter is almost two and she’s not very verbal. Maybe some autism things happening? Not yet diagnosed with her. However, I was wondering if and when you had the time you could suggest some learning toys or apps to help her. I know you said Chloe has helped him become more vocal but do remember some apps and things that you had showed before and can not find the videos. I would greatly appreciate that!! I'm sorry for the loss of your fur baby. My daughter's cat had to have emergency surgery on December 30th to remove her uterus because it was filled with pus. It was the size of 2 polish sausages. I just noticed her stomach a day or so after Thanksgiving. The Vet told me that my brother saved her life because he took her in for me when he did. It was a little rough getting her to eat and drink with the cone on, but she did after I took the cone off so she could. We didn't have a recovery suit for her at the time so I took a pair a tights and cut one of legs off and put that on her so she couldn't lick & scratch where she had surgery. She is back to her old self now.
Ur grieving and that is COMPLETELY understandable...he was ur baby....remember the good memories and times. I know it's easier said than done....we our cat, Chunk, in October and it still hits me...keep ur chin up!
I understand, we are in the midst of grieving, as we buried one of my brothers yesterday. He was in so much pain and his suffering was growing in intensity. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Megan, In a car crash, fluffy padding in a coat immediately flattens out from the force, leaving extra space under the harness. A child can then slip through the straps and be thrown from the seat. Daughter of a friend told me this a few years when she became certified in car seat safety (yes it's a thing). About your Pugly, I'm truly sorry and you're in my thoughts. It never gets any easier putting our pets to sleep but it's the most loving thing we can do to end their suffering. You guys take care...truly love ya'll. 😊
I know how losing a pet feels, Megan. I had to have both of my poodles put down a year apart my black one Scooter was 17 & my apricot one Dusty when he was 15.
@beckybranch1719 I wasn't being a "Karen" either. I have been watching and loving them from their very beginning years ago. But regardless of that I wanted Megan to know. God forbid anything happen to the kids or her. The jacket issue goes for adults too. Easy to remove jackets or bulky clothing and crank up the cars heater to a comfortable level until everyone is warm.

My daughter and grandkids live in Hindman/Hazard, KY and they got quite a bit if snow as well. I'm in NW Ohio and we got even more. I am not a fan of the stuff, but it is nice tobsee a little white for Christmas!

Couldn’t go to the bathroom…She passed 3 days after thanksgiving last year…we had to have her put down too…it’s still hard. I miss her everyday. I cry sometimes. We got a new puppy for our 4 year old & our 13 year old other dog Caine. He was depressed. They were together all their lives. ❤ I’m praying for you & your family. Your babies. Our family dog lived to be 19, I picked her out when I was 4 years old, she died after I had married and moved, my younger sister still lived at home and took care of her. She's been gone since the early 1980s and I still miss her. Losing a beloved pet is hard, a lot of us understand how sad it is.

I'm so sorry to hear about yells pup .My sister had to put her dog to sleep and I still don't think she's over it.She has no kids and she is 40yrs old.Her dogs is her kids
We recently lost our 15 yr old cat, very suddenly to cancer. It hurts so much, but the kindest tying for her. We wouldn't let her, or any of our others pets suffer.

So sorry to hear about your loss. It’s just as hard as losing anyone else in life and my heart goes out to you all. I also wanted to say how proud I am of Bubba! He’s talking so well now. All your hard work is showing. My granddaughter is almost two and she’s not very verbal. Maybe some autism things happening? Not yet diagnosed with her. However, I was wondering if and when you had the time you could suggest some learning toys or apps to help her. I know you said Chloe has helped him become more vocal but do remember some apps and things that you had showed before and can not find the videos. I would greatly appreciate that!! I'm sorry for the loss of your fur baby. My daughter's cat had to have emergency surgery on December 30th to remove her uterus because it was filled with pus. It was the size of 2 polish sausages. I just noticed her stomach a day or so after Thanksgiving. The Vet told me that my brother saved her life because he took her in for me when he did. It was a little rough getting her to eat and drink with the cone on, but she did after I took the cone off so she could. We didn't have a recovery suit for her at the time so I took a pair a tights and cut one of legs off and put that on her so she couldn't lick & scratch where she had surgery. She is back to her old self now.
Ur grieving and that is COMPLETELY understandable...he was ur baby....remember the good memories and times. I know it's easier said than done....we our cat, Chunk, in October and it still hits me...keep ur chin up!
I understand, we are in the midst of grieving, as we buried one of my brothers yesterday. He was in so much pain and his suffering was growing in intensity. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

It’s been four years since we had to let our fur baby go. She was still young so it was very difficult.
We still have bad days but we know she knew she was loved. 🥰

Megan, In a car crash, fluffy padding in a coat immediately flattens out from the force, leaving extra space under the harness. A child can then slip through the straps and be thrown from the seat. Daughter of a friend told me this a few years when she became certified in car seat safety (yes it's a thing). About your Pugly, I'm truly sorry and you're in my thoughts. It never gets any easier putting our pets to sleep but it's the most loving thing we can do to end their suffering. You guys take care...truly love ya'll. 😊

@beckybranch1719 I wasn't being a "Karen" either. I have been watching and loving them from their very beginning years ago. But regardless of that I wanted Megan to know. God forbid anything happen to the kids or her. The jacket issue goes for adults too. Easy to remove jackets or bulky clothing and crank up the cars heater to a comfortable level until everyone is warm.
Praying for you I love babies I have an 11 1/2 year old Boston terrier who has an enlarged heart I can’t stand to think of not having him but I am praying for you all
Megan, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. We also had to put our precious chihuahua, who was almost 14 yrs. old, to sleep last Friday. And I still think I hear her and I still look for her.
We had a little bit of Snow last week, but it was gone before, noon. That’s how small it was.
Have to walk my 13 year old pup across that bridge tomorrow it’s devastating losing a best friend that has been there through all the ups and downs. Thank u for sharing so we don’t feel so alone

It’s okay to be sad 😔 we lost our dog Denali who was 14 also. She had cancer also but it was on her side & it got so big she wouldn’t eat. Couldn’t go to the bathroom…She passed 3 days after thanksgiving last year…we had to have her put down too…it’s still hard. I miss her everyday. I cry sometimes. We got a new puppy for our 4 year old & our 13 year old other dog Caine. He was depressed. They were together all their lives. ❤ I’m praying for you & your family. Your babies. So sorry for the loss of your pug. Our family dog lived to be 19, I picked her out when I was 4 years old, she died after I had married and moved, my younger sister still lived at home and took care of her. She's been gone since the early 1980s and I still miss her. Losing a beloved pet is hard, a lot of us understand how sad it is.
