Wow !! Thank you, Pete very much for your review. All the damn time. I’m looking forward to ordering the new , Glass Hammer’ Arise’ CD !! Cool, hot, and spot-on, space rockin’ !! Love it !! 🎤🎸🎵🎹🥁 Life is better with music
I’ve never been a fan of Glass Hammer, but covers like that hook me in. I’m big into SF & space. Also your review gets my interest. Dense, needing several listens… definitely sounds like music I’m into. I’ve already spent too much on new CDs. I’ll have to get this one too.
Haven't had the chance to hear the album in its entirety from what I've gathered, it seems like a literal search of the heavens for the philosophical existence of God. Could be way off there but need more times of listening to this. A bit different from the older albums of the band that once again were brought to my attention from watching SoT but it raises that oft-asked question, shouldn't a prog band progress over its career? Enough babbling, thanks for the review, Pete. Looking forward to some more time with this album. Always look forward to the weekly new product shows and this is another great example of why so many more people should be viewing these episode.
I love that CD also. Hey, if you would like to purchase the book that inspired Babb to write Lex, let me know. I'll make you a deal on it.@@kennbrown4638
Have missed out on the last few albums but references to space rock and Italian Prog has piqued my curiosity. Maybe Fred was heavy into Netflix box sets.
A question for Pete. I know you have had that shirt on before, but I can't remember if you said what it is from. It is obviously a take on Rush's 2112 album cover. So, what is it from? Thanks.
I was a little surprised by this album. It seems like a departure for the band, or a small deviation. I am still not that into it. Perhaps it will grow on me when I get my physical copy.
I have quite a few of this band's releases since their 1995 Perelandra but honestly this one didn't do that much for me. The songs just didn't grab me. Tends towards a more heavy (dare I say 'doomy'?) vibe - generally not my thing. Also not into the more Hawkwind-ish stuff, fans of that type of thing might like this one a lot...I did like the last track "The Return Of Daedalus" but that's about it (they should do more instrumentals like this!). I think their last one At The Gate, and the one before that Dreaming City as well as Chronomonaut, were much stronger records (I mostly skipped over Skallagrim - Into the Breach)

Nice. Pete. 4.0. Thanks again Pete for your hard work on WEDNESDAYS. 👍💯
Thx for the channel, and showing some love to GH. I have loved the darker feel of the last 4 projects. Peace
Posted my review Monday, love it! I also dig the album art of the past few albums, surprised they never pressed any vinyl!
I really love Skallagrim saga, can't wait to dive into this one as well! Thanks, Pete!
I thought that the last three albums were a breath of fresh air. Loved them! Looking forward to checking this one out!
I’ll definitely give it a whirl just because of the album cover looking as cool as it does 👍
Never heard any of their music but I’m definitely going to check this album out, it sounds pretty cool. Thanks for the great review as always!

Sounds interesting. Always good to see a band expand their sound.
Definitely one to check out. I really liked the last few albums
I did too (Skallagrim - Into The Breach not so much) but this one didn't do it for me. YMMV...
I like every track. Great album. I do not love the albums before the last 4 personally. I am down with this new direction.

Sounds good will give this a listen
I find myself ranking this my second favorite Glass Hammer all-time.
What would be your first and how many GH CDs do you have. Asking for a friend. Thanks.
My favorite is Lex Rex. I have 19 of their albums.

Im like the new one!

What do you think of Midnight Oil?
What does that have to do with the review? Also, Pete is a fan of Hard Rock, Metal, and Prog. He doesn't like Alternative Rock
I dig ,em

@@seaoftranquilityprog Thanks. That makes sense. I have seen him on the Rushfans YT channel many times.
Pete, thanks for showing off the merch!@@seaoftranquilityprog

Got 5 songs in and got bored. Could not get into this at all, the album felt unfocused
Last 2 tracks are easily the best...you are missing out on the meat of the album if you stop where you stopped.
The last track was it for me
