Spotify Plugin for Touch Portal - Working

- Ok, so to be honest, even though it was under 10 mins. The video is a little painful to watch. But, It gets the point across alongside with some other details. However, I won't make you sit through it if you don't want to. I just got it Spotify working today and noticed some other people having similar issues.
Set up as follows
1) Go here and select the Spotify plugin

2) Download the plugin
3) Open Touch Portal
4) Select the Cog or settings button (On the very top bar)
5) Select Plugins
6) Click import plugins and select the downloaded file
7) click start
8) check your browser to authorize plugin with Spotify
9) make sure to click the save button in the settings menu
10) Close down Touch Portal (from the tray icon make sure you exit)
11) load up Spotify and play a song or two
12) load back up Touch Portal
This should of ensured everything was loaded correctly. Good luck!

Side Note: Still need to be connected to a phone or device in order to use the Alt+LMouseClick
on the desktop version (At the time of writing this).

It won't connect to my account. How do I fix that
No matter what page i use or just make buttons in main page - from i press the button to spotify react, it take around 30 sec. some know why??
Is the pluging not working very much ? Sometimes I can play or stop the music and sometimes it don't word at all. I don't know why
I haven't had any issues with it myself - Are you using the pre-made Page inside of touch portal to control it?
what is the commands for the album art to show up and actually change upon song change
not sure to be honest, best to check with the touch portal Discord - the Dev is active there - Just made this based on the basic template

Just for Spotify Premium User ?
I can't authorise mine, Is anyone else having these issues? I'm guessing if you can't authorise it, it won't connect to your Spotify. Any thoughts on that?

It says it need Pro version.... Help me
Touch Portal requires the basic purchase plan to allow plugins and the Spotify plugin requires a subscription to Spotify in order to work correctly. You can also join the Touch-Portal discord and speak directly with the plugin developer of Spotify! Worth checking out! Hope this helps =D

I believe so, I have a premium account so I am unsure the results without one.

@@dojitrading6624 I've experienced that the button doesn't change the spotify playback state when pressing sometimes, either randomly delaying it indefinitely or nothing happening at all. Is this a known issue and if so, how do I fix it? Tried turning everything off and back on again and remaking the buttons but it's literally just a toggle of playback on press.
@@JforJonas Are you using the Spotify template or a custom button? Has the button worked for you before? Has the button stopped working after the recent updates?
@@dojitrading6624 It used to work but the other day it kept randomly not working. I sorted it out though through help on the Spotify channel in the Touchportal discord server. Had to make a custom API app on a spotify website, copy some links from it and add it into the plugin script to bypass some kind of command call limitation. Now it works just fine! Thanks for responding regardless
