@@JohnMonday-pk9be Because Orlando likes size and length. They also like versatility. Anthony Black has all those in spades. Plus he doesn't need to be the main scorer because the Magic have Banchero and Wagner for that.
Thank God he came to Orlando we sure do need him I think we can finally have a great team thank you Arkansas for sending the great city of Orlando one of the best players in the history of the s.e.c.
He plays so similar to Haliburton. My Pacers have their #7, we will move up and take and solid pick in teens. Then another in 20's.. Good luck to anyone once we develop lol. I wish people would start thinking more of this way. Instead of always for "fit." Idc about "fit" over talent. Especially when I don't see much reason, or anything special than strength.. Or an NBA ready body in the player they're talking about in Walker.. I'd take I.Q and elite creation any day first. Then pair it with the best scrappy guy's I can. Idc if it's a bigger scrappy SG which they will say we also don't need.. yet we do, if we look at the big picture and plan on future trades.. Like a Jalen Hood for example.. While there's nothing but SF/PF's all over the place in teens all through 20/30's.. I see the ability to take a great creator/vision guy plus more. Not the same thing through the whole draft.. I'm looking at everything. If anything I'd try to pair him with Hendricks.. Leonard Miller, Jalen Hood.. Or Murray/Whitehead/Prosper.. May even be able to trade back in the draft. Probably too risky if wanting Black in that range.. but could still do it, take what you get on rolling the dice.. or move up the other picks with a player attached possibly depending... Get what you can with those and Black.. Whoever they want to take at 7.. Either way I'd at least draft one guard no matter who they take at 7.. Different combinations of player's.. I'm not completely sold on Walker solely being considered as "NBA" ready because his strength. If he was 6"10 and athletic.. Okay, with his already skill.. Yet he wouldn't be at 7.. So that said why be so stuck on one player at 7?? Doesn't make sense.. He'd be lucky to ever be as good as Thad Young.. I'm not against it, but I'm not in love with him. I honestly don't even like this draft.. Which is why it's even more difficult and crucial to get the best guy's.. That said I don't have a ton of input because I haven't scouted this year like the last.. Just going off glances this year... First thoughts.. my biggest concerns with Black is his body/conditioning.. The opposite of Black. Yet has the height and seemingly the drive to increase it.. You can see a little attitude in his play that suggests that anyways.. Along with more shot consistency. Yet you say he does develop that and omg.. Suddenly he's by far one of the best top picks of the draft.. Which may be a lot less to ask of him. Than for Walker to develop more offensively. Blacks athleticism is also not as much of a concern as Walker at his position. With height also making up for some of it. Add some muscle/conditioning to Black and he's a top 3 to 5 prospect easy. Especially in this draft.. I honestly liked Cam Whitmore for us from jump... But it doesn't look as if that will be possible.. If anything he's went up the board.. I could see 3 going in any direction of B Miller, to Cam and Amen.. So who know's what that could swing. If anything, but slightly enough. That say if your guy gets picked... What is your second option going to be?? Pacers want to solely jump off Walker and onto Hendricks?? Or you take Black and then the next guy??? Or do this to solely mess up Jazz prospects next in line, or whoever to force a trade... 🤨 Or to keep them.. all I'm saying.. which is a lot apparently lol. 😆
Orlando wont let him pass bu them. He is 6'7 and the Magic love size. Plus him...Paulo...and Franz will do damage.
Bro I hope so because ausar over him is a mistake
Called it
Good shout
How did u know ?

Loved watching him compete this year. Battled through injury, but still was a menace game after game.
I think he gonna fit in great with Orlando based off these highlights. Bro will be finding Franz and Paolo on those cuts all day
AB should be a Triple Double Machine at the next level.
He is holy shit good. Attack off the catch, catches the defense sleeping, always surveying, and then all the offensive tools you could ask? Damn
Spurs need to trade up for this kid. Perfect big, two-way PG to pair up with Wemby. 💯
As a wizards fan if they pass on this dude if he’s available we are officially beyond poverty
i hope we get him
I’m gonna be dangerous on 2k with the wizards with this guy
Definitely would be a great fit for the wiz

Welcome to Orlando
We need some more shooting he looks like a solid prospect but I hope we move into the the top 3.
@@AlexGarcia-vn5es I would love gradey also but I could see us getting 4-5, top 3 would be wonderful tho
Should be good...needs to fix that broken jumper
I would pick black over amen Thompson if I’m the rockets just because he could shoot better n his iq is crazy
I hope the Spurs can make it happen!!!!
god these highlights are hard to watch, hey creators we don’t want replays and cut away shots just clip plays
Magic loves mop headed players like Elfrid Payton lmao
Welcome to Toronto

Please let him come home and be a home town kid for us let's go mavs MFFL
Please Wizards draft this man
Welcome to DC
Dallas might trade up for him.
How good is his Jumper?
Did you not see the first game
Shoulda just titled it regular season highlights
But it wasn’t just regular season. There were multiple post season highlights on here.
His pull up and release to slow for the nba he’s g-league at best
Arkansas was a glorified AAU team. No chemistry
True talent with no chemistry
