One: Zach Top comes from Bluegrass music; like many other great country music artists.
Two: To bring back authentic country music.
Three: To prove to the soulless suits in Nashville that we, the fans of country music, still and always will want to hear genuine country music-not that uncountry Pop crap!!!
Four: Because he has a damn good voice
Five: because his music rocks
Six: because like Campbell, Haggard, Nelson, Paisley and Urban, this cat can pick the shyt outta giddar!

It's probably recorded live and then post-mixed like most things these days. Still live tracks though, post-mixing just allows you to make everything tighter and polish it up.
