    You may think that she doesn't "speak to you", but you just gave a very insightful and I think profound look at this poem. Speaking to "what it is to be human". Something inside her words does get to us. Worth the effort and the.....what is the noun for being confounded?.......confundity? confoundedness? Somehow coming out the other end and feeling to see if you still have all your parts intact.

      Thanks. Sorry for the late reply, but I've really been grinding lately and sometimes it's hard to keep up. You know, making so many videos on literature, sometimes it feels like shouting into the void. So your comment really makes it feel like it's worth it.

      Sorry for replying late again. Who would you say are your top 5 poets? Are they similar to Plath?

      @@StrippedCoverLitMedia Unfortunately, I don't have a top 5 favorite poets because I read mostly fiction and non-fiction. However, when I am in the mood for poetry, I reach for Sylvia Plath and Maya Angelou.
      I love your channel by the way. You're helping me understand old poetry, like Emily Dickinson.
