All great ideas. I just bought my first iPad and downloaded the DJay software for backups. However, I'm so impressed with it that I might just use it as a main in certain scenarios. I'm also going to use it to run Airstream Bridge DMX by ADJ.
Hi Joe, great video's as always. I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the new Adj My DMX 2.1, Also if its ok to ask a question regarding my DMX and the new 2.1 version. When it says about what minimum soft/hardware requirements are needed for the Mac or Windows laptop or pc you'll be using, do you know if that is the least that they should be run on (say widows Vista) and any newer version's after that will be ok or does it mean ONLY the soft/hardware it suggests? I hope you understood that, I know it was a bit drawn out. thanks for any advice you can spare as I'll be purchasing a new laptop to go with the my DMX 2.1,
My DMX 2.1 is only a hardware upgrade from MyDMX 2.0. The software is exactly the same and is compatible with both interfaces (at least for now). The minimum hardware requirments are just a minimum you don't need to meet the specs exactly. Ideally you want to exceed them to have better perforance from the program!
+Joe | JLDJUK excellent Joe. thanks for that mate I wasn't sure if I had to stick to the exact Windows software or any of the ones that came after would also work. learnt all my original DMX programming on my two 12 fixture DMX desks via UA-cam and now doing it again for the My DMX hard/software and your tutorials on it are extremely helpful. thanks again and keep up the great work.
