      Unfortunately I can...... Long time ago I had similar issues. No ring cameras or ways to record. Thankfully, I was young and renting was less complicated then. Once I realised that the police or landlord couldn't really do anything I sold my furniture and kitchen stuff and moved out with a backpack of clothes and personal items, a sleeping bag and a pillow. That's what I moved into the new place with. It took a couple of paycheques before I got a bed so that I wasn't sleeping on the floor anymore and maybe 6 months to replace everything else. It was a great inconvenience but I was able to live in peace. I've been lucky with neighbours since

    Wow! Mike, I am furious that the judge dismissed the case for protection from harassment. What else can Henderson do? Her fence is legal and I bet it IS on her property. The old couple openly admitted to each of the allegations. Henderson even had photos and video. Police advised Henderson to seek this order. Keeping rotting matter deliberately MUST break some health statute? Here in Manitoba we have an ordinance against standing water when mosquito populations explode. This elderly pair need to be put in their place, told no by someone because they are a liability to the neighbourhood. I have Bird feeders. It is lovely to see the songbirds and I have never heard of anyone thinking about deterring them. Old guy said he wanted poison but decided on rot instead. He said he is used to the smell! The old couple are loose cannons. I thought the judge would tell them to stop or go to jail. Henderson has a fence on her legal property. She does not need to prove the legality. I feel it is the old couple who need to bring a legal suit to challenge the fence. They will lose... maybe then they will lay this to rest. The woman said they need to openly show their continued opposition to the fence. On what grounds?
    Mediation is not acceptable to the old couple. I think they know they will find they have no standing.
    Just disappointed that this lady took time and brought her case before a judge who did nothing.

He used his LiDar gun standing at my rear bumper, knowing he'd get someone else who was going even faster than my 82 in a 70. I know I was lucky that day! I hadn't even seen the officer's car in the wide open median because I was just chilling in the car singing to the radio, but I slowed down and pulled to the slow side as soon as I saw him, and waited for him to catch up to me. LOL Only took him about 30 seconds to get a red S-10 going about 100, thinking the cop was busy.

      @Tindometari 6 місяців тому +3

      @user-zl7ec2lg6e Well, I thought of two things there, because I happen to know a thing or three about birds.
      One: Apart from scavenger birds, which are highly attracted to the scents of decay, birds generally have the weakest sense of smell in the animal kingdom. Their dominant sense is vision, and smelling your way through life is a mammal and reptile thing; birds have little application for it. So creating a stink to deter birds doesn't serve that purpose.
      Two: Decomposing flesh results in large numbers of maggots, and maggots are highly attractive food for many birds.

Her conscious decision to pity these 2 irrational, mentally unstable seniors was so ridiculous and reprehensible, I believe she needs to be disciplined or possibly removed. The couple in the protective order are completely delusional and unhinged. It appears to me that they are upset because they didn’t want the fence on the property line or on their property, so the lady asking for the order and her husband moved it six to twelve inches away from the property line, on their own side to satisfy the request. However, this enraged the neighbor couple because it leaves a “ditch” between the fence and the retaining wall on the property line and they complain that it’s unsafe. What did they expect? You can’t have it both ways. The lady asking for the order was in a catch 22 and couldn’t make the couple happy, no matter what they did.
    As far as the property complaint, it sounds as if the couple is angry because they are unable to access the garage via their neighbors property, which they have no right to. The fence obstructs the couple’s ability to use property not belonging to them and that’s not illegal. They have access to the garage, just not in the way they would like. These two are insufferable and the plaintiffs are best served by never interacting with them unless and until they are in court. Make them pay the money to hire a lawyer. They don’t understand that they are not going to get their way on this one.

    Did they say 80 in a 45? then the judge said he was being charged with 15 over? That’s 20 off… it should be 35 over. (I will rewind, maybe I heard wrong?) … The judge was entertaining with his LiDAR fan boying;)

The judge trying to get into the record some sort of equivalence where that was one is just an attempt to make it look like she actually did her job.

    Each one wants to get their oar in the water first even if it sinks the ship. She complains that the couple talks over everyone; so does she. This woman says she knows this court doesn't have the power but she wants to waste time talking about it anyway. All of you just need to go ahead with a lawsuit and get this settled. She always needs to say "just one more thing". Three very hard headed people.
