I really enjoyed this vlog. You look more free and comfortable. And your accent is sooooo amazing. Inspiring as I’m trying to learn. Emphasis on the trying 🤦🏾♂️😂
Happy Adwa day to y’all too. As nourishing as that pasta/spaghetti looked I had a laugh about the irony of it … while eating my leftover spaghetti. Haha
I can see through Eyes that you are a good person and mean well in the videos you post on this channel. I really enjoy your videos as they represent a current day Ethiopia in the eyes of someone from another culture or upbringing, not that there is anything wrong with it. It's jut so refreshing to see someone from another side of the world to immerse in to a completely into another culture on the other side of the world and live the life you want to live, Stay blessed my dear and continue doing what God tells you to do , don't fear anything, don't let anything discourage you, believe in God and just live your live !! A message from an an older Ethiopian descendant in the US . I left Ethiopia when the population was ~30 mil vs the current count of ~120 mil and I see lot of changes politically, culturally, and socially as a whole in Ethiopia. BTW, you are not missing anything here is in the US beside your close family. Really !!
Happy Adwa to you too and family from Johannesburg.. I confess I didn't quite know about it until now when I watched one video by one of the vloggers there. Thanks for posting this one also.. I don't know much about vlogging, but I think it is commonsense that sometimes one is never too sure if the video is good enough to post.. I am beginning to believe that Ethiopian vloggers do a far more better job than to those who fly in and out of Ethiopia the very next day, if not the same day.. Ha-ha.. I didn't see Josh (?) pulling you by the dress while you are busy cooking?
Thank you! I try to only put out “good” vlogs, but some are better than others lol. You probably did see Joshy. These children are always up underneath me 😅.
@@princesslivingfree ok but I have a question for you if you don't mind do you think it's the right place to live cuz I wonder why you prefer Ethiopia to the USA for me i wouldn't do that cuz i think now a days Ethiopia is not good. there is war, economical criss, inflation, and religious criss in some parts of Ethiopia.
Hi princess, your language is so great(Amharic) your lunch is looking yummy, I have a lot of questions for you but I don't know which one you consider consulting or giving info as you used to we are heading to addis this summer to check out before we make permanent move we need real and clean information and I am hoping you can help us appreciate for responding.
Thank you! Yes, we do offer consultations now. If it’s just general, big picture questions I can answer them by email. I will even answer one or two more detail specific questions by email. However, if you need help with several areas like budgeting, or schools or local rent information etc. that will take more of my time, so for that we charge a consultation fee. Hope that makes sense 😊.
Thank you princess can put your email please to start out with simple questions and we go from that point, I am mostly following my guts and make moves as you know dollar's hard to reach for certain class but I know we can make it.
Thank you! Yes, I will try to do that more for future videos while still being respectful of those who may not want to be on camera. I realize people probably want to see what’s going on 😊
Yes, there are lots of nice apartments throughout the city. I don’t know exact prices, but my guess is that the nicer ones are probably around 30k-40k birr per month on average. It’s probably a bit higher than that around Bole.
Is RIDE a safe app? I was thinking of coming to Addis in a few months and was worried about the taxi situation bc of a story I heard. It would be really awesome if you did a video on general safety precautions to take when visiting Addis from abroad!
Yes, the Ride app is very safe. I have used it plenty of times without any safety issues. I’ve taken all forms of transportation in Ethiopia (except the train), and they have all been fine/safe.
It's not safe to travel to Ethiopia. Rebels are 200 miles from the city and closing in. The country is going to collapse. Save your life and avoid Ethiopia.

HI THERE GREAT VLOG! I WONDER WHATS YOUR FAVORITE ETHIOPIAN DISH?
Thanks! My favorite is qil qil 🥰
I have a question ? You like to live in Ethiopia ?? and how is everything ? Rent, shopping all the situation ??
I love Ethiopia! There are challenges, and Addis is more expensive than other African cities comparatively. However, it’s all worth it to me.
wow you speak good amharic
Thank you 😊
Nice
Hey love 👋🏾 it’s been awhile. Hope all is well ❤
Hey! All is well thanks to God ❤️
Hi for how long have you been in my city? where are you originally from?

Are there any affordable apartments in good areas? Like in bole or any other good area.

@@princesslivingfree ok thanks for the information! Do you know any other good nieborhoods besides bole?
Sure, there’s lots! On the higher end there’s the Sarbet and Mexico neighborhoods and medium price point would be around Summit, CMC, Gerji, and Lebu.
Is RIDE a safe app? I was thinking of coming to Addis in a few months and was worried about the taxi situation bc of a story I heard. It would be really awesome if you did a video on general safety precautions to take when visiting Addis from abroad!
I think it’s amazing as I use it all the time. But the sister can give you more details as she lives there
Take a bus. Bus is more safer. Train is crowded and lots of theft
Yes, the Ride app is very safe. I have used it plenty of times without any safety issues. I’ve taken all forms of transportation in Ethiopia (except the train), and they have all been fine/safe.
Which area do you live at ?
Summit
Do you know how much we love you?😀
I’m starting to feel the love 😄.
I heard you purely
Thanks for the feedback!
Wonder what job she gonna do
Mostly entrepreneurship 🙏🏾

The Most High is with us.
@@princesslivingfree Everyday the rebels are getting closer to the capital and they will enter it. 600,000 people have died in Ethiopia since 2018.
