- The GWM Cannon back on the sand dunes, actually dropped the tyre pressures this time haha.
We stayed on camp 29 at 14 Mile Beach campground. It was ok but full of flies. If you're going to stay here back sure you get a beach front site as they are amazing!
We drove into Exmouth to Pebble beach to view the Eclipse. We were so lucky to get such a great spot.

Was that a blue star fish or a rock?
Did you have to wear special glasses for the eclipse?
That was a huge star fish!
Yes we purchased special glasses. They had cardboard ones for $4 each. Was definitely worth it :)
So cool
hows it going towing with the GWM been watch all your vids love them but love to know how you going with the GWM towing :)
Hey mate! The GWM is insanely good haha. Can't believe how good it's been going. For just a little 2L it's got heaps of power.
Towing is great. Obviously we have a very heavy van so you know it's there haha. The car does 100kmh all day every day. Pretty much every hill is all good. Sometimes you slow down to 90 on a big hill but mostly fine. Everything works great. I did upgrade the suspension which helped as the car did have a shudder on take off when towing but it's good as now.
Have only had good experiences with GWM dealers around Australia too for services.
The ute has surprised me everyday as I was expecting the worst but it's definitely proving itself. This is by far the hardest test one of these has been through for sure haha I give it heaps!!!
How many km’s have you done with the Gwm?
@@MrHsv123 26,000kms now 😀
What off road setting are you using for the sand and hills etc. I'm so used to manual and mechanical off-road driving after 27 years in the military. This electronic stuff is cool, but going to be a challenge 😂🤙and vids mate, beautiful family and awesome trips. If your ever in the Bundaberg region feel free to swing by for a brew🥃🇦🇺
Cheers mate!!
Sand
I use manual mode with paddles 2nd or 3rd gear usually
Traction control off
Rear diff lock engaged if super soft
18psi when I can be bothered to drop the pressures haha
Hills on road just leave it in Normal mode and plant it haha
Thanks for your comments mate that's really nice :)
Catch ya for a beer one day
Cheers 🍻 for
