kai is actually half german and half korean. when they first debuted, everyone was going crazy on trying to figure out what ethnicity he was lol. he was born in hawaii, but moved to china and lived there until he was 8-9. then he moved to korea. love your reactions and hope you do more enhypen and txt :)

If I'm not wrong Hyuka is american beacause he was born in hawaii and yes, his father is brazilian and german descent. Her mom is korean. Their parents met in china where he was raised for years.

35:23 You can call Hueningkai Kai if you want, it's actually his first name (but he couldn't use it as a stage name because another idol is already using it). His full name is Kai Kamal Huening, and he is Korean-American (but with roots kind of everywhere). He also has a lot of nicknames, like Ningning or Hyuka. He did a cover of Youngblood by 5SOS that is absolutely mindblowing by the way! TXT in general did a lot of covers and they are just amazing.

Yes, at 21:53 that is Soobin he has been the Mc of Music Bank since last July, and it will end this upcoming July. Soobin dolphin cult as came from his performance as the new Mc of Music Bank.
Also Huening Kai is mixed and was born In Hawaii.

@@rjkpop Kai’s father is German and was actually a famous celebrity in China or maybe it was Hong Kong. I forgot but yeah Kai used to live in China too! His mom is Korean.

Kai has a complicated family hahaha. His father is of German decent (a very tall blonde man) and his mother is korean. He was born in Hawaii but spent most of his young childhood in China (his father was a performer there). He technically has dual citizenship I believe because he would have been naturalized in Hawaii but he also inherits his mother's korean citizenship as well. His father was apparently born in Brazil too, though I don't think he shares any deep ancestry there. I was always under impression that his father was American (as in he has a US passport) but his last name, Huening, is German for sure. Oh an Kai has 2 sisters who are also musical protégés like him. His younger sister will be competing on Planet 999 this summer.

Loved your reaction! There are lots of crack videos on youtube, these boys are just too funny. I find it endearing to watch them interacting with one another, they're a really beautiful group. I also recommend some of their relay dances, they're really interesting and fun to watch!

Honestly it took me almost a year after their debut to have a bias on TXT but until now it keep confusing me who is my bias

Like someone said below, Kai is Korean-Amercan but from his dad's side he is German. His dad lived in Brazil and Kai was born in Hawaii. However he only lived there for a few months or at most a year. Him and his family then moved to China and lived there for 7-8 years. Kai speaks multiple languages (Idk if he's fluent in all of them) such as Korean, Chinese, English, Portuguese, Japanese(I think), and German. Anyways loved the reaction. Looking forward to more.❤❤

Just so you know, Beomgyu has the deepest voice in txt but he has the least lines, taehyun does mostly the high notes, soobin does most falsetto, hueningkai does some adlibs, and yeonjun does most of the rap.
