Nice video! I had a 1025R for a few years and loved it; traded it in for a 3025E and it commanded a great trade in value. Your comments are spot on especially about the pallet forks; best attachment period! I had the frame mounted plow and it worked great, but it was not quick attach so putting it on and off was a bit of a chore. I often cleared snow with just the bucket and it was fine, just as it was for you. I did not have a backhoe so I used a ballast box; loaded tires alone are not enough for that tractor; at least not in my opinion. Fun video, I look forward to watching more of your content. Thank you!
I really like the 3025E, I wanted more stability, I found the 1025R a bit too tippy for my liking. The dealer loaded the tires and I put on a ballast box so all in it weighs just about 4000 lbs. I didn't mow with the 1025R so I don't miss the mid mount PTO. I did a lot of snow removal with my bucket and like you it had very little wear on it. With your lot the way it is I don't think I would spend the money on a plow or snow blower. Worse case if you are worried about damaging the bucket or driveway would be to invest in edge tamers. The 3025E is marginally stronger than the 1025R. Lift capacity on the 300R loader is just under 1200 LBS. I thought the dealer treated me well on the trade in, $15,999 for 2019 1025R with 60 hours on it. The 3205E was list price in the "build your own page" on the Deere web site with a $2500.00 rebate. I wanted to stay with the 25 hp engine to avoid the emission regen package. I live in Massachusetts about 100 miles south of you so we get plenty of snow, but probably not as much as you. Take care and thanks!
Question for you. When you are actively clearing snow with the bucket, do you have the throttle fully open? Also, I'm curious about which gear mode you are in? Sorry, I'm a newbie and my tractor is being delivered next week. Thanks!
Get yourself a HLA Snowpusher. You will love it!
Now thats a sweet ride you have there John! Nice show!
Thanks 👍

Thanks for watching. How do you like the 3025E? I have been using the bucket for a couple years and the bucket barely shows any wear.

I have the same implements minus the backhoe. I use the pallet forks the most.

Sorry for the late reply! I hope you are enjoying your tractor. I typically run it at about 3/4 throttle and usually in low gear.
Edge tamers are less than $100 for your bucket. In my mind, they worked great. Ain’t fancy
Have you had any problems with the fuel gelling up in the winter time? Let's say -10 below? I enjoyed the video I have the same tractor in MN!
Nope. We run winter fuel and an additive.
