  • I definitely needed some ibuprofen after this but what a wonderful change!
    A few months later I separated these beds per Charlie’s request and here’s the link to that video.

    Hi, how did you managed to cut the loft portion off ? You did it with the bed assembled, or you just marked the cutting line and then cutted the wood with the bed disassembled ? Thanks a lot for sharing this !

      Both beds are kura loft beds. We had just previously cut off the loft portion of one of them leaving just a bed base. That’s why they stack perfectly. Thanks so much for the comment!😊

  • @lossaborio6537
    @lossaborio6537 4 роки тому +2

    So you had 2 kura beds and use one just as a base and the other one complete? Or what did you use for the base for the final result?

    • @thestacystory166
      @thestacystory166  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, that’s exactly right! I’d had these two kura beds for a while and decided to cut the “loft” portion off of one to make them into bunk beds. I did not buy them with doing this in mind but after a few years and a third child I needed a new solution. 🔨

      The bottom bed is a Kura loft bed as well. My husband just cut the "loft" part off with a saw. We bought them instead of toddler beds and it was a good choice. They have lasted 6 years and still going strong, much longer than toddler beds would have lasted.
