Since you came into our family’s lives, you gave us the best love a family pet can ever give. No matter what our moods were, you had the same friendly, lovable personality. We could’ve been pissed, happy, sad or nervous and you knew how to bring us that happiness. Sorry when I yelled at you for digging holes, pooping on the rock planters, drooling on our clothes, roll in the dirt after we gave you a bath, etc. But you still came and gave us that love like the yelling never happened. My Chubby Buff Bulldog that never became the guard dog I wanted. More of the dog that would jump on you and hump your leg. I will cherish the memories of our occasional 2 mile night runs or when I rode the bike and you ran in front of the bike tire as you would get tired and gave you a skin burn on your doggy sack. When we chilled in our Laker Man Cave. Definitely will miss your companionship. As you got older, you became a part time inside dog, to a full time inside dog. You gave us 12 long good years. You lasted longer than most bulldogs last. You fought these last couple of months. But we knew you were tired and you were ready to go. We love you and will miss you. I know you’ll be waiting for us in Doggy Heaven.

Such short little lives our pets have to spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting for us to come home each day.
It is amazing how much love and laughter they bring into our lives and even how much closer we become with each other because of them.
