Arduino Opta PLC Robot Drum Machine [D1608S Expansion Module]

Arduino Opta PLC robot drum machine uses internal relays as "high hat" and drives external solenoids with D1608S expansion module solid-state relays to beat drum and power supply for additional percussion.

What's heard isn't exactly a 4 to the floor drum beat per an early misunderstanding, but the actual code should be that sequence. I'm a better engineer than musician.

I wonder how easy it would be to add a MIDI interface, then it would easy to vary the sequence if needed.

Do you know how many switchings the relay can have?

I don't know the rating for the mechanical relays here, but they do eventually wear out. SSRs, however, will last a very very long time.
