Beau, thank you for your review of this edition of the NLT. Just a point of clarification. You mentioned that the NLT is a "paraphrase" that is not translated from the original languages. That is not true. It is not a paraphrase but is a translation from the original languages. Here is a quote from their translation introduction, which I assume is in the edition you are reviewing - "The translators of the New Living Translation set out to render the message of the original texts of Scripture into clear, contemporary English." I might suggest that you read that introduction and make that clarification in your video so as not to misrepresent the NLT. Again, thank you for your review. I appreciate that you are helping to people to know what they are buying with respect to the Word of God.
Really like the look of this NLT. Appreciate having two ribbons (long ones too), and Tyndale Select's are incredible. The way God's word was meant to be read and studied. Thank you for your helpful review, Mr. Tate!
I just rechecked the link and it took me to the same ISBN number. I couldn't find a preview of the cover to confirm what you were talking about. I'll do some more digging
I have this bible too and what I don’t like about it is that the liner is cardboard, I noticed when you go with a big bible making company they always cheap out on stuff.

Randy Leinen, you are exactly right. I apologize for my mistake.
Great review Beau! I've wondered about the calfskin ones.

What about the caxton NLT by Schuyler?
The Caxton puts this bible to shame, I have both of them and the Caxton is wayyyyy bettter

@@grant9047 can you get the Caxton still? I just found out about these Bibles bc I always used NKJV but recently switched.
