Thanks; I never thought about sanding the gesso first!!
hi! I love all your cosplays! specially when you do the cosplay of lightning! do you have instagram??
I really want to do the cosplay of lightning but I dont know how to start... any advise please??
where do you bought the necklass of lightning?
Looks like it would work for making a sword shiny without having to learn how to forge actual metal!
Hi Anathiell Thank you for doing the video. I've looked for this 2k 2 part acrylic lacquer and only find it at amazon for about £26.00. Is there anywhere else i can purchase at a better price?
Stuart just go to any auto shop where they fix cars and they sell spray paints as well. They should have it there. They mix it on the spot.

This is a 2-pack for £21!
wait so do I sand my worbla before or after gesso? Wouldnt sanding after gesso just take the layers off?
You can sand worbla before if you want but in this method I sanded it after multiple layers of gesso were applied. And yes, it is taking some of the gesso off (that's the purpose of sanding), that is why you need to repeat the process and apply about 6-7 layers (thin) then sand, if you see that in some places worbla is visible from underneath the gesso you repeat the process again and again until you are satisfied. Sanding removes the uneven surface, bumps, brush strokes etc. All depends how well your initial piece was made, that's why it is always best not to rush through the process.
Anathiell so do you sand after every layer of gesso? I'm working on my first armor and I think I have done a mistake, I painted 4 layers with gesso without sanding in between, can I just sand it in the end or are all my gesso layers waisted now? thanks for helpful video
no it's not wasted at all. That's fine there is no need to sand after every each thin layer. Sand now and should you not be happy with the result or if the worbla is visible from underneath just add more layers of gesso and sand again :)
Anathiell ah thank you so much for the help :)
