In Japan like in the UK...they get everybody jumping! Will never forget seeing them in a crowd of mostly indie/hipster girls...the looks on their faces when SL came on!! To their credit, though, they were dancing within a few seconds as well!!
I'm an ex-pat Londoner stuck in the East Midlands,, driven out by gentrification. Also a 64-year-old punk rocker (it ain't dead, neither am I). Add those together, add your music, and I F'ing LOVE this song! Need to see you live, Keep it rocking in the meantime. Thanx.
Thank you Skinny Lister!!!! Saw you today at Bråvalla Festival and you rocked as hell! One of the best Liveshows I've ever seen and I've seen alot. Not even Flogging Molly got you today so thanks a bunch! :)
Glad I got to see yall this past tuesday at AJ's Live, that was a helluva show with yall, antiflag and flogging molly! Can't wait to see yall come back again sometime~!
+TiltonRoad Birmingham haha Bostin! I lived in Brum for almost a year. Id get back home to Brixton and me mates would extract the urine cause Id picked up some accent! Worse accent (plus scouse) that Ive heard lol But Boston has great sea food. I have my pie, eels, mash n liquor after a few Guinness on Sunday lunch. Good luck against Cardiff.
The pouges ripped off traditional music , who ripped off other traditions . It's happy, it's brilliant and as a levellers, Pouges, Bellowhead fan who cares , it adds to the mix .
"sally".....I've played in a Pogues covers collective for ten years and while it's similar it's not a lift. .......I'd say this was closer phrasing to a drunken version of "bottle of smoke".... but this is my opinion
"The thinkers and the drinkers and the downright disappointed" Love it.

Pogues meet 2024
can't like if at 666 likes, sorry
Shocking rip off 'Sally Maclennane' by THE POGUES. These guys were the pioneers, Skinny Lister dreadful immitation.
+threesnice Don't care.
It sounds like a morris dancing song that was made hundreds of years ago, the Pogues probably got that tune from someone else.

Not a rip off a homage.
