The use of it is just to delay the vacuum until the engine reach the proper temperature then that's the time the thermostatic wax will allow the vacuum to flow.just a reminder you should know what diaphragm uses the manifold and ported vacuum. Just uses your wild imagination regarding on vacuum lines like my car it has no tvsv or bi metal for vacuum.

Thank for the videos. i have a similiar problem. I was driving and when i Hit the brakes to stop the Idling shot up high and didnt come back down. When i switched the car off and back on the Idling just goes up and stays there. Is there something I can check?
