The way she pretended to love him, unless Johnny was beating her there is no way that you can not work out your differences or at least talk about them. You do not go from love to hate in such a short period. Don't know what they were consistently fighting about and he may have called her some bad names but is that really enough to end a supposedly strong relationship. He still loves her, you can see that but know one deserves to take the bullshit she was handing out.
