Impressed with the bathroom & shower space, designed well. I like how the shower curtain closes. Thank you.
I like this floor plan very much. Dry bath, Dining table and Queen size bed all separated. Also enough counter top for the coffee machine.
I compliment you for NOT using a click bait title. You did a nice, factual tour of this trailer.
That is a good looking R Pod. First time I've seen a Thule on a trailer. I didn't even know Thule made awnings.
I understand that many dealers will negotiate on the final sale price and I know that will vary but I think it will be very helpful if they at least mention the MSRP price. This way anyone interested will have an idea of what it costs.
wamblue so you’ve never needed to know the price on anything at say a grocery store before. I’m sure you’re just trying to be funny, but that statement is really only said in the movies or by douches.
Very cool trailer, impressed to see no wet bath in this unit
So we have just purchased a 2019 R-Pod 190. My wife
and I chose over the 189(she likes the floor plan better.) It's maiden voyage was from dealership to our hone(45 min). We have a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder with a 6000 lb towing capacity. It road very nicely up to 65 MPH. Suggest you to go both R-Pod forums and Facebook owners. Good tips and advice. Plan to take it out to Beaufort, SC from Jacksonville, To area(about 3 hrs) to visit our new Great Granddaughter.. So slept in it only 2 nights trying checking it all out.Hot shower was great.Took the table out, did mix kept the top for bedding. We have a different table plan. We are Newbees, but for us it's just right, toss easily.
I really like everything about this unit.
Great video - very thorough. New model is awesome!
I woud respectfully suggest that you post the floor plan at the very beginning of your videos. If the floor plan isn't of interest to me, I have no reason to watch the video. Thanks!
Nice job sir! Very informative.. I think I just bought one.
You didn't mention anything about the bed.
The nicest prod I have seen
This one's a keeper for me.
I'm in love!!!
Nice presentation. My only suggestion would be to show the unit with the slide in. Considering where the refrigerator is, it might be difficult to load groceries, or open the bathroom door.
Slide out can go in with a push, that's good but does this, or any other slide, operate if you're boondocking w/o elec; do I need a battery [extra] do this?
Why is the outside shower on the side away from the trailer entry? Seems it out be better closer to the entry into the trailer.
The only thing I don't like is the window design. I love the ones that crank open and move outward from the bottom for better protection against rain coming in. I presume these also have screens and blinds for privacy. Otherwise, it's really nice!
Furnace under the bed plus storage? How safe is that? A furnace does not belong under a bed plain and simple!!! I would think you would overheat in bed. The rest of the trailer would not warm up properly.
Up to how many watts of solar can you hook up to this? Is that foot flush toilet plastic or porcelain? thank you!
With the help of this video I felt comfortable enough to purchase the 190 from Couch's without seeing it in person. We signed the paperwork today and will be picking it up soon.
Irishman1776, Congrats on your new R Pod. Ray is wonderful to work with. I hope you have many years of enjoyment. R Pod owners are very helpful toward one another which makes ownership extra special.
The same thing happened with us. Purchased without seeing it in person. We pick up in March :)
Irishman1776 My condolences, RIP! Too heavy & too light!
P.S CHECK.THE LOAD , "SPEED" RATINGS OF THE TIRES VS. THE SINGLE AXLE: do the math at ZERO miles then start suntracting?
No bull: I'm a FR victim too, & REVOKED FOR LIFE from F.R.O.G. which is why they sell so many & and changed names like you change. ; sox's.
Hope you will stay under the limits , maintain PERFECT maintenance & replacements. May God protect us all!
forgot the bedroom. =(
Would've been nice to see the bed. Couldn't tell if it's east/west or north/south
I only want a bunk size bed. The size I had on the Navy ships I rode for 20 years. It would be just for me. No other. I would like to spend my silver or golden years on the road. 76 now so 24 years left to wander.
Earl Phillips exactly. All these RV s sport big beds when it’s just me and my baby girl dog.
fantastik
It is well thought out I will say that, however FIBERGLASS is heavy and cost a lot to repair if damaged. I would have to say if you can't post the length and the price, then there must be a reason for this....Guess it might scare a lot of people away.
how much?
Normal for that furnace area to get so hot underneath and even up into the bed?
Nothing about the bed other than the dinette turning into a bed but what size???
I don't know what they cost then but we just pick one up for 12k! The previous owner never used it. It sat in his driveway. I don't think he ever used the cook top stove, it looks brand new.
not at all happy about 2 separate dump connections
Without a price range I'm not watching nor subscribing.. it is everything when considering... Grrrrr
Ok, I don’t own an RV so I’m a bit of a newby but -where the heck is Couch’s RV Nation? I look online and they appear to be a big chain. Right off it doesn’t tell me the first location. Not one. I can find out but I just dislike having to research something that should be right there.
Good review of a good looking product but ideally I’d like to hear a customer’s review also. A product ALWAYS has a few shortcomings even if they’re not deal-breakers. With all RVs quality is a big priority and it’s hard to discern. Thanks for entertaining my thoughts which are always getting refined 🤠
Hi Stephen. We are located in Trenton Ohio however we sell and ship campers all over the country and have a lot of customers drive in from all over the country to pick up their new campers do to our lower sale prices here. We have a second service location in Hamilton Ohio as well.
the awning brand Thule is pronounced too-lee just FYI great video though
Mia Fuller nice to know as I have one of their (expensive) roof racks and the seller did not even know how to pronounce it.
What type of vehicle do you need to pull this?
they should state that at the BEGINNING of the video..weight and tongue weight with a single axle.
2900 lbs + 900 load better get 5000 lbs tow such as Honda Ridgeline, Toyota Tacoma, etc.
Thank you Sir for a fine presentation. Any chance a person could order one of these with a real stove?
can something like this be pulled with a 18' Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4?
I would recommend talking with your Toyota dealer to check the spec's on your truck but I did a quick google check and it shows them being able to pull up to 6,500 pounds. If the spec's on your truck match that then you should be fine. I'm posting what google showed below.
2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport Automatic 4WD Access Cab
Pickup truck
3/5 · Car and Driver
Model: 2018 Toyota Tacoma
MSRP: $35,180
MPG: 18 city / 22 highway
Horsepower: 278 hp @ 6,000 rpm
Towing capacity: 6,500 lbs
Engine: 3.5 L V6
Curb weight: 4,325 lbs
Dimensions: 212″ L x 74-75″ W x 71″ H
I would paint the cabinets and walls white to make it look bigger and brighter.
Don’t external batteries get stolen?
@@chrisvolk2326 you can't steal shit if your hands get blown the fuck off.
WEIGHT and tongue weight?? I Don't want to watch an entire video if I cannot even tow it.....thx!
Com on, some vehicles are borderline tow-ers. Example. A Toyota Highlander can tow 3500 lbs.
@@bguen1234 years ago when the kids were home we had a trailer that I towed with a Ford f150. No problem. Kids are gone and I just bought me a new Nissan Murano and I have the itch to go back to the campgrounds and imagine my surprise to learn my towing limit. 1,500lbs. But Im still thinking about it because of the itch so yeah I definitely want to know what the dry weight is. My wife bought a Nissan Rogue. 1000lbs. Moral of the story, don't buy a Nissan. Yeah I know I should have checked before I bought it but at the time camping wasn't on my mind. Oh well. After watching some of these videos I guess I'm going to have to forget about it until I get another vehicle. Something that will tow al least 5k or 6k.
I don't like the idea of the furnace being under the bed.
Please
Quote price
Very important in decision making...
Angelortbo Flores the price will vary from time of being built and what part of the world you are buying in. Google Rpod dealer in your area and they will have prices quoted on there website
Arthur Benson yes, but they shouldn’t have a problem quoting the price on THIS UNIT that they are showing.....🙄
What is the cost
Manufacturer Secret Real Price......camping shouldn't require a credit check-right? :)
Everyone that makes RV videos needs to go out and get a wide angle lens for their camera.
Dear lord! Half the video just to see the inside😡
Forgot the price!
This looked very poorly manufactured. When looking in the storage spaces you can see huge gaps in the joinery. Thanks for showing it.
How much money and how much does it weigh?
Hi Mark. This one is currently on sale for $15,660. It had a dry weight of 2,959 pounds. If interested you can give me a call at the office. 888-417-8299 EX203
Where do you sleep
There is a tarp you slide under the rig with mosquito netting and a sleeping bag. 😵
Nice! Price?
Nils Ciccione he said $16 thou plus taxes fees, licenses, doc stamps, prep fees, dealer fees, finance charge and good humor fee.

To long to get to the floor plan layout
most of the "older generation" do not want to crawl into bed from the bottom--no place to sit things next to bed--led lighting inside? swivel table--who wants to carry the table inside and outside?--
2018 1/2 lol
Big gap,
no price point, no dry weight....not a good review IMO
Sure wish all these lil campers had 2 propane tanks, instead of just 1.
very easy to add another to trailers. this one seems to have room for it
I purchased an R Pod 176 from Ray, and they installed a second tank for me.
I don't like the u shape dinette
This R Pod is fantastic!!! Thank you Ray for all you have done for me in purchasing my R Pod 176. I could not be happier!!! You did everything you could to help me make the choice that was best for me and my grandchildren. I highly recommend you and Couch's RV Nation. I am a happy customer!!!
