Tactical mistake starting with Son up front. You should leverage his skill, creativity and pace on the wing, and fill the box with a striker
Liverpool and Spurs both did what they often do. Liverpool are weak if you pressure them; Spurs season is fizzling out and didn't look a threat until the end of the game. Both these teams have a major rebuild coming in the summer, but, as a neutral, I can see Spurs overtaking Liverpool if they back Ange in the transfer market, as he has a definite way of playing. Liverpool's future - without Kloop, and probably Saleh and perhaps Van Dyke (who is on the wane) - is impossible to predict as the next manager is a completely unknown quantity. Can they catch Arsenal next season, and possibly City? No chance.

I cant believe some of the negative comments against Ange. At the beginning of the season they were ripping teams apart. My Spurs supporting partner was loving it., but I said you have a small squad, injuries to key players and you will derail. Son goes to Asia, Maddison and others injured for lengthy periods, they hit the rails, then its about reintegrating the key players back in. With 3 or 4 new players and they will be going for the title with city, Arsenal and Liverpool. Its his 1st season, be a little more patient Spurs fans.
Spurs struggled to beat a 9 man liverpool team and we definitely weren't ripping teams apart. At least half the results we extremely lucky.

What did spurs fan expect. You've spent 5 months living the dream. You have your Tottenham back! Exciting front foot football, A manager that despite being himself clearly a great man manager is crippled by himself. The exact great trait he has in abundance and everything a spurs fans wants in a Manager. the exact manager that had fans loving life and singing songs. is now the same manager playing the exact same way, all of a sudden because his team are not scoring 98th minute winners against Sheffield United, the same side who were clapped off after being smashed at home by Chelsea. Leaves the same fans now questioning the exact same mans ability to "adapt" or to someway get a group of average footballers to keep performing miracles. Get a group of players that don't intend to defend simply because they can't, to organise and attempt to bring in any game management with no spine? 3 central midfielders that spent 4 months pulling up 🎄 with maddison bisuma and van der veen. A goalkeeper that now is shaky because he's being punished by the mistakes he got away with months ago. A manager that unfortunately is still in a position where he doesn't trust or have a better option than emerson royal despite him being shit 3 years ago actually knowing it will make hes team worse still has no choice!. Postecoglu epitomises what spurs are and has always been about. A dreamer, having enough about you to occasionally get a result or performance, a man that sticks to hes values. A man that gets it. If you actually look at what’s happening here this guy is normalising below par performance. He’s manipulating this situation with his words, with all his excuses and salesman tricks about what he will do in the future to dodge scrutiny today.
