The current VA's are amazing, but the pilot VA's will always have a special place in this community.
At least the pilot Hazbin episode voice cast are well-aware from we the fans that not all of us were onboard with them all being completely recasted for new people at first (and some still not over it). But even so, they know how much they meant to us. So… why not give us a proper farewell?
They all were able to re apply. Ed can sing, but Amir is the literal inspiration for the voice. Michael can’t sing well in Angels voice, Blake can. Matt is still in the show just for minor roles. Plus we got people from Helluva boss, so I’m sure if they wanted Viv would find a part for them

Finally someones reacted to this- I would have thought fans would have been all over it! Perfect sendoff in my opinion. New cast is doing awesome, but man, there was something special about the pilots cast.

Without the pilot cast joining streams and spreading love of their characters the Show wouldve probably died out and been forgotten. The Pilot cast carried the love for this show and its so sad to see them leave but I will never forget their amazing performance and bringing these characters personalities! Much love to the Pilot Cast!! 💜🥹

They just fking showed how much better their voices are once more. I know its supposed to be wholesome tribute but god damn. I loved Hazbin Hotel pilot. I loved that animation style, I loved these designs, I loved voice acting. Tell me. How much of it is left in the series? They didn’t even give us proper reason for all these changes. I’m done with Hazbin. I am no longer part of this community. I didn’t wait for THIS. To everyone saying that Im just hater and that series is good. I don’t doubt its good. I saw the first episode. But I can’t watch it with realizing it will never be that hazbin hotel which I saw in pilot

I really think you need to give it a chance. All the changes were fully explained and justifiable, the animation is better than ever and there’s so many great new songs to enjoy! I wasn’t fully on board at first either but I was so excited for new content that I powered through the episodes and had a great time. It’s fair to miss the old actors, but don’t hate on the new show because they were replaced with more seasoned professionals.

I wish people were more like you on this point. I get it. I'm still watching it because I crave the story above all else. But, you're right that it doesn't feel the same. But everyone else is full on hating on the new voice actors, and cursing Viz for changing the actors, but it went corporate. There's not much that can be done because it's no longer just hers. And people say she planned this from the start but idk about that. They're just spewing hate.
I like your point of view better. You're. Ot completely hating on the show or the actors themselves. You're just mourning the loss of that first feeling we got when we watched the pilot. I get it dude. I miss it too..
@Aryan-qv5qk from what I know, is this was always suppose to be a Broadway production. And the actors got changed because they needed people who could talk and sing in character, and the origin voice actors couldn't do that because it was painful or hard to sing in the characters voice. Not to mention when everything went corporate they needed union workers. It's how show business goes sadly. But the OG actors were so loved, I'm sure they'll get new gigs soon. And you can still find some of them on hellava boss and some others animated series.
