I am working hard saving so I can move back home. Nigeria is my home,I don't care about the hate the nation gets, let's face it ,if we don't build it who will. Those who rather be second class citizens abroad are free. We complain about bad healthcare,no security and bad education, yet nobody is doing anything. many go home to be forming elite for those back home, instead of bringing those ideas and doing awesome things.
True, but sadly it's completely out of your control. Will you go and fight Tinibu or Amechi? The thing about your guys abroad is after enjoying the sanity of the sociality abroad, you easily think you can come back to Nigeria, speak up and get the politicians to act right or the policy to stop harassing and shooting people for no reason. Well you can't change a thing here. Petition all you want, sue who all you want, at the end of the day you'll realise there's a reason Nigeria is the way it is.
@@wisdombright9821 I don't care about politicians listing cause I know they won't. They don't care about you nor me,the real solutions is coming back with ideas and implementing them home. For example, bringing business models we learn abroad and implementing them back home. Take Jumia for example it's not even a Nigerian that own it,it's Europeans they brought the idea and fit it with Nigeria society and they worth millions. We Nigerians will complain from morning till night waiting for government. I am not ignorant o the huge challenge Nigeria is,but we must figure out how to make money out of it and give a decent life to our people. Even the abroad we dey is not all roses,we hustle hard here.

Well done Dee. I am 44yrs old and I've lived in the UK for 18yrs now. Already have a house with tenants living there. I have decided to relocate now, and so glad I came across your Channel. I work for NHS at the moment, but it's going to be all business for me in 9ja as I am into trading as well. My advice to you is that, you need an every day income to survive in Nigeria. Will continue to watch your Channel and new sub!! Wishing you all the best, I can see you going places👍🙏
Great video, my advice for anyone that want to move to Nigeria, 1st make sure you visit Nigerian before so that you learn and see how the system works over there, have enough fund to support yourself. Then you can decide if you can cope
Thanks for sharing I’m coming back soon I’ve been in USA all my life and and came to Nigeria a few times with my husband and family and friends I no the struggle but I love my people there they show so much genuine love and I also want to help be a part of building Nigeria call me crazy but see so much beauty in Nigeria and love the culture I feel at home but it’s true it’s not for everybody it is what you put into it God bless you all ✌🏾
I will move when I win the lottery. Abuja would be my choice but it is so damn expensive. I live in London where I was born so the standard of living would be not to far from it. I am not interested in Lagos at all where I visit from time to time. Bad roads, over populated, too busy etc. I am a city boy and Abuja for now seems calm. I know in years to come, people and companies will move there. One of the few things I like about Lagos is the beach.
Really informative just stumbled across your vlog. Have subscribed. My husband has just relocated after being in uk for over 20 years i am still in uk with the children. My husband was husband was suggesting my two older children come over for their nysc. Both are in uni in london at the moment. They have only visited when they were 4 and 5 now they are 20 and 21. I learned a lot from what u have shared i will keep following you your information will really assist me with any decision i make. My husband has also informed me that his moving back is a real challenge But hey its our country😊😧😣
God be with you all. A good wife should support her husband. Not all Nigerian women feel comfortable with the idea of their husband returning alone or the entire family returning. Most of our women have bought into the comfort of western life without thinking about the future of the children and their children-children. The thought of my unborn grand- and great-grand kids being like a typical "akata" scare the hell out of me because I know what black people go through in the USA. It shall end well.
To anyone relocating to Nigeria,my friend has formed a " Tutoring" business teaching( English, Igbo, Yoruba) to those needed to brush up on their language skills... He is located in Abuja, Nigeria( but works in Lagos also) Anyone who may be interested can Whats app him at Whats app+2347036070772, or tochikezie100@yahoo.com, being a " Native" Nigerian( Igbo) he can also tour you around the city.. Just let him know that his lady friend told you on UA-cam!!
I moved to nigeria 15yrs ago from the UK and now I am emotionally drained because I love my country naija, the weather etc but the problems of light, bad roads and health sector is scary. I am in UK now to get away from the stress of spending so much money on fuel. The truth is do a good research buy yourself a good generator...get ready to use money etc. Good luck.
Johnson Olajide I know that. That’s why I said one has to get a good powered generator that can carry everything in your house but as you mentioned, if you have money to break, solar is better.
Its more of a blessing to live in Nigeria you wouldn't be under a tax trap. Most medical practitioner s in Nigeria end up owning their own business but the so called diasporans some ladies end up marrying husbands abroad that need them because of their income. My observation please.
I've a friend I just had this conversation with her, she is a pharmacist and it's more economical to move back, because her husband is established in Nigeria, and she has the funds to open a pharmacy in Nigeria
it was very interesting to hear what led you to make the decision to move to Nigeria after 16 years of living in the UK. thanks for sharing. how did the rest of your family particularly your parents feel about your decision? did they have any apprehension or were they completely supportive? also did you have any fears or doubts about the decision prior to making the move? and have you ever had moments when you doubted whether it was the best decision since making the move? lastly what was the basis of you and your husband deciding that Nigeria as opposed to the UK was the more suitable place for you to settle in? sorry i have so many questions! lol! hope you don't mind but if you do that's fine too. i understand. respond according to whats comfortable for you. thanks. Maria Chea Hi Maria! I would suggest some part of the country is safe to visit. Such as Lagos, Abuja, Anambra or better West, East and partly South. Please avoid Northern part for now. Don’t travel alone and locals can be a best guides. Good luck and enjoy your holiday.
It is safe to travel in most part of Nigeria. Apply caution like you would in a foreign country if you are not from there. There are more chances of you being muggeg in a London or New York subway than on the streets of Lagos.
It depends on the state and route you take. Fulani heads men and kidnappers are the major problems. Just go by flight if you can, if your going by road ask questions about the route and safety. Avoid Owerri to PH express road, kidnappers are notable for kidnapping an entire bus. Delete your bank account balance sms!
