I love love Freddie Mercury's early days. He was everything you would expect a Rock Star to be. John Deacon (bass guitar) Roger Taylor ( drums) Brian May (lead guitar) all equally talented. Great reaction. Your smile says it all!!
Love the way Queen makes you smile. Freddie especially has that effect on people. Check out "Bicycle Race". It's a companion piece to "Fat Bottomed Girls" & they're usually played together. And each song references the other (like Freddie saying "Get on your bikes & ride!" in this one"). The Official video, please, to get the intended effect.💙☮💙

I saved for 3 months to drive across the country, over 5000 miles return, (Alberta to Quebec) to celebrate my 24 birthday at the Queen concert in Montreal on Nov 24, 1981. One of the best concerts I've ever been to, even after all these years! I so enjoy watching the younger generations of today hearing this great music for the first time. Makes me rather jealous if I'm being honest. Haha !

This came out as a single on 33 album with the flip side being “I Want to Ride my Bicycle”. So he references riding a bike on this song, and the other he references the fat bottom girl.
This song was on the "Jazz" album... and Freddie hinted at the next song ('get on your bikes and ride.') The song is "Bicycle Race" make sure you watch the British version (about a hundred stark naked ladies riding in a bike race)... don't watch the sanitized version. Peace from Canada- be safe.
I agree, this song is catchy as hell and makes me smile every time too! I think “Don’t Stop Me Now” will put a big smile on your face as well, it’s high energy and fun!

I don’t think Roger Taylor ever gets the accolades he deserves, his drumming is truly sublime!
Fat Bottomed Girls was released as a double A-side along with Bicycle Race. The lyrics of the song contain the text line “Get on your bikes and ride”, a clear reference to the other A-side. Bicycle Race has the text “Fat bottomed girls, they'll be riding today, so look out for those beauties, oh yeah” which refers back again.
So now you have to react to Bicycle race too!
And ofcourse all of Queen songs ( about 372)

You need to go listen to the original album version b/c this one cut out a lot of Brian May's great guitar work. "It's Late" is their 2nd best song (behind Bohemian Rhapsody). IMO.

There is a laundry list of queen, Princes of the Universe, I'm going slightly mad, Body Language, Killer Queen, One Vision, Gimme the Prize. I could go on. =D Queen is an amazing artist and I am glad I grew up to have him as one of my favorite bands as a young one.
