I really appreciate the support, my friend! You should also check out my adaptation of "The Picture of Dorian Gray" if you haven't already. I'm also working on "The Time Machine" by H.G. Wells which should be out in about a week!
Nice narration and interesting graphics. Unfortunately, if my independent research results are correct. Poe himself had nothing whatsoever to do with the writing of this poem. His claim to authorship was what we might, today, call identity theft--merely a brazen public scam. The real author, as I have concluded, was Mathew Franklin Whittier, the younger brother of Quaker poet John Greenleaf Whittier, who wrote it based on real-life circumstances in December, 1841.
@@ssake1_IAL_Research Thank you & I appreciate the alternative history lesson I'd never heard that before. Could make an interesting film in & of itself. Following Poe as he tries to flee from the consequences of stealing the Poem from Whittier. Could all play out in the narrative of "The Raven" but with a twist. Perhaps Lenore represents not only a lost love to Whittier but also the constant foil to Poe as he deals with the theft of a poem originally called "Lenore" by Whittier that he renamed "The Raven". So he's haunted by Lenore in a completely different way than the poem implies.
@@Bytesized_Stories_AI Lenore is a type--it's a reference to a German poem by Gottfried August Burger. It would be like saying that a guy who's an inventor is "a real Nikola Tesla." The poem was written about Mathew's wife, Abby. I would indeed make one heck of a film.
Very cool! Make sure you subscribe & keep in touch. I'm getting some pretty good momentum with this project & I do plan on more ambitious projects in the future so perhaps at some point you can assist me with a film based on this information you've dedicated a fair amount of time to.
This is incredible. I love Poe. Keep up the good work.

@@Antreus Much appreciated!
Very cool! I love watching different videos for Masque of the Red Death. That would be a cool one to try. :)
