I've got a rare post facelift 2004 C320 coupe with high spec. It has black leather interior and luxury climate control, dual fully adjustable electric seats and steering wheel, parking sensors etc.. I think these extras make the interior feel much more luxurious
I’ve seen some of those. I would have definitely liked that on mine.
I have the same trim in mine C230K. Dual fully adjustable electric seats in a 2 door car with less changing passengers is funny to have. 😉
The sport edition is way better insides he just has the manual and stock interiors

I had the c230 bought new and would love to find a 320. It was a well priced affordable car less than or comparable to other sport hatch cars of the time. It didn’t feel childish and refined. The build quality was great. The cloth seats were durable and firm although at first I didn’t like them initially. It just needed lumbar. I have much nostalgia for it as I’ve had many more expensive bmws volvos and other mercs. This was the car that made me smile. It was such a sleeper but even that small supercharged engine provided all the power necessary all while providing a surprisingly roomy back seat.

I had a black and black 2005 c320 with manual transmission until I got rear ended and totaled it. I was pissed off cause they are so hard to find. It was fun to drive with the upgraded interior as well as all leather. Beautiful car

the problem with repairing this kind of old mercedes is that you can't add the costs to the price when you want to sell it , its just gone, despite the fact the new owner will benefit of these fixes ,tyres ,oil changes and automatic revision ect... but to be fair i use mine 230 coupe everyday for my work and it never let me down
That really goes for any car. The tricky part about this car in particular is that every part is unique to the coupe. I had to get a new rear quarter glass and that was a major hassle
i own a 2002 c230 and love it. I bought it for $3000 Canadian dollars. did another $1000 in needed maintainance a year and a half ago. It has not let me down once since then.

It’s interesting, because in the UK this car would be considered to have a large powerful engine. This is a car that a lot of people here in the UK would avoid if looking at this model due to high road tax and fuel running costs. I’ve seen unleaded petrol at £1.66 per litre at motorway (highway) filling stations.
Most people buying this model of car or similar would opt for a smaller supercharged 4 cylinder or even a diesel. I’ve yet to see a CL203 C30 CDI AMG.
Even with the larger engine, it’s still not very powerful. It makes just over 200hp and it it is a heavy vehicle as well. It is a nice gas guzzler as well in the city, but very efficient on the highway.
@@Dunna_shreds I have the M111 230K (197hp) in a 2001 Sportcoupe . In original trim, leather seats, 17" MB alloy wheels and the big sun roof (like yours). I love to cruise with this car through the summer, its so nice when all is open. Because of a lot salt on the streets here in germany in wintertime, i will only drive it in summer from now on. Hope it get a classic car one day. 😊

I just picked up a 02 c230 kompressor with the auto.
Always liked how they look. Seems as though mine is lowered, or sagged springs, and it has a nice fibreglass amg style bumper. Not sure what direction I’m going to take it.

I also have this in manual. V6 rear wheel drive. Heated Leather seats, Bose speakers, pano sunroof. I almost never see them and when I do it's the c240 which is a 4 cylinder. I search online for these and can't find them
The v6 were not offered in every country. I think this is why they are hard too find. I miss driving this car but really enjoy it's replacement
I think we have the same car 😂, but mine its automatic.
Mine is a 4 cilinder with 192HP. It is supercharged, and I'm going to boost the sound of it. I think my model was only manufactured for America, that's where the previous owner bought it from. Currently I'm using it in Europe.
I also made some aesthetical modifications. I have an "only white'n'black" kinda theme going on. It looks completely different from the ugly stock grey/metallic ones, with these color combinations, using wraps and paint. Heck, even the back of it looks completely different, just by changing the tail lights' colors. Also you mentioned the interior being "cheap" and I was confused till I saw yours, because mine has a full leather interior and people always say when they sit in that it is very elegant and pleasant from the inside.
P.S I'm glad I found another person being passionate about this car, I find them kinda rare, and even when I see one on the road they are in a pretty bad condition, which makes me sad. Keep up the good work!
Your car sounds fun! The 4 cylinder Kompressor are very common in North America. Great little cars. Glad you’re enjoying yours!
I was planning on getting one and just swapping the frontend with the sedan.
That won’t work without a load of customization. Nothing on the front end swaps over from the sedan. Everything is specific to the coupe.
The number 5 is your opinion to me it looks sporty and actually like a coupe I would say

I own a C32 AMG Sportcoupe and you are right about the rear is ugly. Mine came with 02 exhaust ports and kinda gets better. Mine is not underpowered (420HP at the crank) but the car is heavy and the chassis its not sporty at all. Its a fun car anyway!
We never got a C32 in Canada. The c320 was the biggest motor available. Your car sounds fun.
Got a 2005 coupe facelift "evolution", could not believe I got for €1,000, now I know why, cannot find a single part for the car, not even a rear bumper with the chrome strips, no headlights, and waiting for the next surprise!
I feel your pain. I also only paid $1000 for mine. Haha. They are fun cars but the body part uniqueness is annoying.
I have a 05 c230 kompressor. I have it all blacked out. It’s gorgeous it’s a good fast car but the main issue these cars have is the suspension system. The water hose and the superchargers tend to mess up. I got a decent mileage one that was black I put a lot of work in it and I’m thinking to get a regular everyday car so then I could put a much bigger engine in it
Nice! Suspension was the first thing I changed. My car was a c320 so no supercharger, but it did have some issues. Sold now

I have an O2 c230 kompressor. I bought this car for myself after winning my struggles with addiction. I absolutely love my car! I parked it for about two weeks well I waited for suspension parts. But then when I started it up to drive it over to my brothers. IIt didn’t want to stay starting stalled out at every stop sign and now will no longer start. I can’t figure it out. If anybody has any clues, please help. My dad and brother think it’s the timing. But I pray it’s not because I’ve never done a job that big. it only has 132,000 miles on it it’s my baby I’m a single mom.
Hi Kati, congrats on your success overcoming your struggles! Is the car throwing any codes? I highly doubt it’s the timing, as this is a very uncommon issue with these cars. I’d suspect it’s your fuel pump or mass air flow related. Get the car scanned and go from there.

If it's the 2.3 (not the 1.8) ASP pulleys makes a supercharger pulley good for 25ho

Love the cars rear but… did you get the CLC in 🇨🇦? Plus the CLK or C 32 engine will fit & it was sold as such in Europe!
Yeah. There are some good options for motor swaps, but this already has the v6 320 engine and it would be a load of work to swap motors.
I just dumped $1200 into my black 02 c230 kompressor coupe. Just finding headlight housings, is tough. Cheers brotha.

Yes, they're ugly cars, but I'm on my second! Drove a C220 CDI for 2 years, loved it, especially down country lanes where the RWD balance works so well; just picked up a C180K as a replacement, looking forward to driving fun. Oh, the facelift version just looks and feels more expensive than the original; that said, the original didn't feel budget either, when you compare it to a Golf or whatever of a similar era.
We never got the facelift version in Canada. I like them.
@@Dunna_shreds there are minor updates externally and internally that make it feel more premium. I do like the original though!
Yo I just picked up a c230 hatchback 6 speed manual supercharged. I need some info for some lips and side skirts what fits. And ships to Niagara falls ont Canada
Congrats! I have used multiple sets of universal sideskirts and front lips. For the side skirt extension, measure a more common car for length and order those. I’ve used the Maxton Deasign e46 M3 sideskirts on 2 different BMW’s and a SL500.

This was called the Evolution package. I would measure your rotor size to confirm.

I saw some pop up on eBay. It’s tough to find anything for this model. Front fenders are impossible to find as well

Thanks! I’d check online for the instructions on how to reset your roof. I’ve had mine stop working a few times and was able to reset it.

I made it. It is all based on universal parts that I customized to fit. The rear diffuser is from a Mitsubishi Evolution wide body that a narrowed to fit.
Where did you buy the front spoiler and sill fins ?
All the parts are either custom made or universal parts that have been modified to fit. I recommend measuring other cars and seeing what has a similar size and going from there. I had a 350z front lip on the car a few years ago.

There is no trunk release in the cabin. It is on your key fob. Or, like me, you climb into the back and push the large round green button on the hatch to open it.
Does this car has bluetooth ?
No it from factory. It has a cd player and tape deck. I installed an aftermarket head unit that has Bluetooth and usb.

I have no clue to be honest. The C320 sport coupes never really existed in the US from my understanding, so I doubt it, but possible.

The company I got it from doesn’t make them anymore. Search on eBay for Sportcoupe or cl203 spoiler or trunk wings. That’s where it originally came from.

This was just a single DIN Pioneer unit. Any single DIN will fit with the proper surrounding kit. I got the kit on Amazon for $30.
should have bought a 16v kompressor instead of that lumpy v6 bro!

If it’s manual, make sure it doesn’t pop out of first gear. It’s a common issue.

Prices for new for benz let’s say for the model in the video or W203 generally starting at $350 excluding shipping DHL preferred for tracking and safety we also have used options. I will still need exact model to be sure it will fit and it’s the right one will provide images from packing to shipping just to be sure.

Here’s 5 reasons not to buy a CL203 based on stock build. Heavy car for its size, two spark plugs for every cylinder, every body part and glass is specific to the CL203 so replacement parts are near non existent, traction control kicks in Even when turned off, electric gremlins galore, weak manual transmissions, slow with auto transmission, zero aftermarket support, etc.

I wouldn’t recommend it, but part of the fun of buying cheap cars is that it forces you to learn how to work on them. Mercedes in general has terrible resale value, that’s why you can pick any c class up for so cheap. Parts are expensive and often difficult to source. I needed a new rear quarter glass and had to order it from another country as nothing was available in Canada. The biggest issue for me would be the electrical issues. You can spend alloy of time and money chasing issues and never resolve them.

My C320 was straight piped and it was really loud. I can’t imagine it with headers as well. Haha
