For mine, a little dive into Rachmaninoff would also come up with some of the most beautiful and memorable melodies of the 20th century. Any of the 3 movements of 2nd piano concerto, 18th variation from Rhapsody on A Theme Of Paganini ....... and most definitely the Adagio (3rd movement) of 2nd Symphony.

@@stanislav182000 My 2 favorite pieces are Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's 'Concerto for Trombone' and Sergei Prokofiev's 'Suggestion Diabolique'. 'Time Forward' is a good piece, but I prefer pre-Bolshevik Russian music.
