Ryan is a hyper intelligent person. Super cool to watch him play. I get some people don’t like that he’s matter of fact but for me I feel like I learn from the calm, blunt demeanor much better
11:37 I feel like a two mana once upon a time wouldn't hurt if ross had either made land drops or been able to keep mana dorks, but this is magic the gathering and that is asking too much
I was playing a pretty similar deck in Standard, but did not have the option of Skittering Surveyor, so I was also playing Matter Reshapers, Filgree Familiars, Thought-Knot Seers, Reality Smashers, Wretched Gryffs, Ramunap Ruins, Ipnu Rivulets, Shivan Reefs. I would Really prefer the ETB 3 drops than the LTB ones..
The tonal shift of this video from the Corey and Brad video is hilarious. They are so chill compared to the lively brothers. I love them all really. I just think the tonal shift and, therefore, the balance between the six videos is just very funny to me ^_^
As a Starbucks drinking, ultra elitist liberal from Seattle, I hate it when people say, "y'all" .........UNLESS those people are Ryan Overturf & Ross Merriam. More Overturf please!
I'm curious... there were a few missed plays, but mainly playing a deck that's missing cards that are synergistic to what it should be doing (ur emerge) ... do they build these themselves, or copy someone else's sub-optimal deck list?
laidout21 izzet emerge is a new archetype being learned about and built currently. it’s definitely good enough but just not entirely there yet. this match didn’t really highlight what the deck is looking to do either. it’s got some work needed to get into a very good place
Ryan would be such a boring player to play against. So uptight, so serious. In this channel, the players elaborate on the decks, strats, ideas, weakness of the deck, etc to their viewers, imo Ryan’s not delivering enough. That Izzet deck he play is a future top tier deck in pioneer, I love the synergy behind it all but I didn’t get the information I came here to watch it for. I mean that is a reason this channel showcase these new built decks right?
This was probably the most chill VS Live in a long time. Super comfy duo and I'd be happy if it happened again sometime!
Mtg asmr lol
Just dropping in to say that I would really love to see more of Ryan and Ross. Easily my favorite VS pairing.

i wonder what inspired corey to straighten out his hair and get glasses
Ryan is great. Super smart player. Gets straight to the point. If he says a card is bad, I'm not gonna question it.
whoa whoa whoa hold up.....
is that THE Ryan Overturf?!?!?!
Ryan "Godo, Bongrip Warlord" Overturf?!?!?!
Jeremy Noell has gotten a lot better, but I didn't expect to see him on regular VS Live!
Ryan Overturf is my new favorite because his dry deadpan makes me laugh. Glad he came on for this week!
7:30 games begin
I miss u overtuff! I m a big fan!

Link to decklist is broken.
Ryan's deck seems in dire need of a playset of Skittering Surveyors and a playset of Skyscanner.
