For real though he is not a good builder like you know the house is gonna be trash when he pulls out a full glass block. One of the basic rules in Minecraft is that for a build to look good you almost always need depth and for that builders either use glass panes or they have the glass block set 1 block back from the main wall of the structure. Another mistake he made is that he used normal and not coloured glass.

Just 1 quick thing csx there's a fairly simple way u could fix the lighting with the window u did with /portal move_portal -0.5/0.5 and /portal move_portal_destination -0.5/0.5 while facing the portals and then u could put the portal on the very outside part of the window cause if u did the inside you could clip through so if your doing a build with that that could be good also if u are still reading this and didn't stop right away I just want u to know ur doing a great job with ur videos

An idea to improve the portal you walk through would be to rotate the portal so it's diagonal I'm not sure how well it'd work technically, but I think it'd be logical in how the physics and transition work Just a thought, not sure how it'd actually work in practice

Dude, I got an idea, you should take your train mod, and the immersive portals, and make a portal that is pretty much not noticeable, then run a train through the portal and have the portal come out somewhere else
You need to rotate the window portal ninety degrees counterclockwise (270 clockwise). Currently, it looks like the second house extends up above the roof, instead of going towards the other window.
Seen stuff like this on UA-cam being used to troll people, but never understood how it was built. Been want to this kind of thing to build a bigger house.

Instead of putting barrier blocks, you can edit the portal nbt (with I think /portal nbt) to make the portal non-travellable.
