Hi HitchUpAndTow, until we walked around the site we didn’t realise just how many pitches there were. This will be a very, very .....very busy site at height of season and I’m not sure if the facilities would cope. But out of season we enjoyed our stay even if everything wasn’t open. Hi Gareth. Great site for the children, especially younger children and tweens. I think it would definitely be better later in year rather than off peak as it was a little intermittent with what was open, but the weather didn’t help either and as in vlog, things like the shop were completely closed throughout our stay and clubhouse evening only. Rides in the park varied, but by end of week most were open. Thanks for watching.
The facilities were really nice and well kept. I would think this is quite a task in height of season as there is a lot of camping/touring pitches and I think the glamping safari tents also have to use the facilities in the amenities block. I really appreciated the tall showers. Thanks for watching.
I was very impressed, especially as people were walking across the wet muddy grass as a shortcut and walking the mud in to the facilities, but the site team were keeping on top of it. Thank you for watching.
A pool would be a great addition, although I think the complex would have to be a reasonable size as we didn’t quite realise the sheer number of pitches on site. I could see it being rammed during peak season. We’ve yet to visit a site with a pool, but I’d like to give it a try. Thanks for watching.
Would have been nice to have a little more sunshine, but to be fair I was happy to have the rain over the wind. Still found enough to do and I really like listening to the rain bouncing of the caravan. Thank’s for watching.
We went to the theme park 2 years ago and really enjoined it but found this site to be quite expensive or we would have stayed. I really enjoy videos of people reviewing sites as it gives us ideas but feel not many people do it so please keep up the great work.
Agreed Chris, it’s not the cheapest of sites. Since signing up online I’ve received loads of special offers from £50-£100 of stays and free theme park tickets with a booking, so if interested it might be worth signing up to emails, be warned though, they do come through thick and fast! We’ll be visiting some more new sites (to us) later this year and will do some more reviews. Thanks for watching.
