I'm impressed with how well this came out. It seemed like you were 'eyeballing' a lot of the hand drilling and cutting, and yet with quite a lot of eventual precision in the result.
How do you not have more content. This is gold. If you released one video like this a month and slowly got better at video work you’d make a killing. Do the smallest mill, smallest blasting cabinet, smallest hydraulic press, smallest magnetic chuck, smallest grinder, smallest belt sander, smallest planer, and the smallest lathe. Then when you get super popular people will start wanting to buy them and you can make tooling to mass produce them. lol
What a great job. I am researching to build a bench drill for a "watchmaker" with high precision, where there can be no more than 0.02 millimeters of play. Your project was the best reference I found. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I wish you success.
Everytime I feel like I came up with some neat and cool I see video like this and realize my stuff is nothing compared to the ingenuity of the stuff some of you guys make wow this is awesome
Please make more "mini tools" like sanders, planers, thicknessers, jigsaws, angle grinder ( this would be so useful for getting into small spaces ), mini pipe benders for really small metal tubes, mini bench saw, mini multi angle compound mitre saw ( this would be very hard to accomplish), mini sheet metal bender/press ( for bending really tiny metal boxes, mini metal roller for making straight metal in to curves and circles ( don't know if this is even possible but I'm gonna challenge you for this one !). Anything you could figure out how to make in miniature would be amazing and I know a lot of model making hobbiests would love to see them. Great video which is why I got so enthusiastic about the miniature range and why subscribed. Please keep it up.
One can do 1/12 scale knifes, hand planers, saws and axes that are from right materials and actually cut wood. Metal cutting/grinding tools are bit more harder to make and power tools you run into issues with size of the motor and bearings. Thats is about what limits the size, so its actually in scale. I have couple dozen such working models made, but havent delved into power tools for mentioned reason of motor size.
This would be a fantastic addition to my modelmaking tools - not really necessary as I have hand drills in various shapes and sizes, but just the sheer kudos of showing one off to my friends and saying "Yeah, I just made it a few weeks ago after watching a UA-cam video and thought it might come in usefull" would leave them speechless as there is one guy who just buys every conceivable tool out there. I am just going to have to try and make one of these ! Now where are my tools....
Love it I wish I had the tools to do this , I would become addicted to learning and would some day be a beast too , I’m a carpenter , I do a lot of standing seem metal roofs , build houses and we manufacture our own flashing , this would be awesome
get a lathe and a millingmachine , u can get a lathe for 500 to 1000 usd. and a milling machine from 600 upwards! check mini lathe and mini mill. i have a bit a bigger lathe and a mini mill and i mae my first engine this week!
This dudes skilled at whatever job he does. The lack of measurements and precision he made the drill press with is impressive. Not many people have hands on skills and engineering knowledge
You have 2 brains. One to think inside the box, another to think outside the box. (One brain see the armature. Other sees a gear shaft.) Great work. Regards.
This press has worked like a charm for my projects ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxajoEbapTfqWaadnqb04h6U576yxXp-FE . I didn't even secure it to my table top, mainly due to the fact that I was using a 15 lbs drill vise. It's not flimsy at all as to what others have claimed it to be. Make sure the locking nuts and levers are secured and there won't be any issues with light pressure and patience. I was able to drill through aluminum, plastic, and steel (steel took a while) with no problems at all. Yeah it took a little longer than a regular drill press, but I don't have the space OR the money for one.The instruction manual was worthless, but luckily assembling the press was intuitive. However, the manual would be good for ordering replacement parts if needed. There is a nice breakdown of the parts that are included in the kit. Before ordering, make sure it is compatible with your unit, it is clearly stated what models the press is compatible with. This was an excellent purchase for $40!!
Holy COW! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR TALENT/SKILLS! I’m disabled., I try and make smart devices with ESP32 and 8266 mini boards. (U can look them up on UA-cam). I take them a few steps further to actually “”assist” me as it’s hard to do many things. So generation 3 I call it. I don’t video. I just try and automate more of my tasks. With that, I have to make the case to pit it in. Waterproof for outside items. I have a Dremel type tool (cheaper brand of course) I use. The case is plastic, wood, thin metal, plexiglass (not as thick as you drilled). My hands are not steady. Hard to drill straight holes in small size parts. Please let me pay you to make me a mini drill….. it would be soooo useful. If it is easier to make… it could be 1/3 to 1/2 bigger in size. Did you make the drill bit? I use 1mm , to 10mm diameter /very short screws mostly. Sometimes I have to use eyeglasses screws sizes. If you built drill press, where can I buy mini bits to pre drill holes? I check (China).. If accepted, leave msg here. I’ll give you my email address then. We go from there. (I cannot afford a 3d printer to make my cases.) If not, I humbly understand. By the way. I am tied into tech “world”. U need backup channel to have all videos (copied to) and refer to subscribers of backup channel ASAP. I have no ties to any, but I know internet/tech world. There is a 1yr old site growing good, Adding more capability daily and got huge $ infusion to grow. They may copy ur current videos over/ save you upload of old videos there. WebSite is called (rumble). I know a lot of changes coming to internet. As well as sites to not continue for specific reasons. I LOVE BLOGGER VIDEOS LIKE YOURS. IT IS PLEASE CREATE backup site somewhere and SOON. (THIS WEEK NOT TO SOON). GOD BLESS! I HOPE WE CAN DO BUSINESS (DRILL PRESS). THX. ALTON
I've been a machinist for 45 years and this is the coolist thing I've ever seen built from start to finish. Great job.
I'm impressed with how well this came out. It seemed like you were 'eyeballing' a lot of the hand drilling and cutting, and yet with quite a lot of eventual precision in the result.
I didn't realize before you wrote it, but that is exactly how I like to work too -> Eventual precision :-D
Is how mechanics, especially gifted should work.

Hi
Precision eyeballing*
Now I want one. Heck, i want a whole shop of "tiny tools". Great job!
Then you can use all those tiny tools to make bigger tools!!

You sound like someone's grandma.
Vc vende seus trabalhos ???
The level of planning, skill and steady hands are amazing to watch not to mention attention to detail, very well done !
I'm blown away how effortlessly you made the build look.
What a great job.

This absolutely rocks.
It is pretty tough to do tiny holes in thick material. You did a brilliant job here.
One of the best mechanical precision work I've seen in recent years. Excellent
That Miniature Drill Press Is Awesome, Nice Work !
Well, except for needing an entire machine shop of normal sized tools to fabricate the tiny tool, pretty cool video.
*Friend* - "hey can I borrow your drill press?"
*Him* - "sure buddy no problem" 😏
Great videos ! 👍
Ya no that's just over the top 🤣🤣 good build tho 👍belt drive nice
Good job my friend 👏💯👏

Fantastic, totally amazing your work. Could you make the joy of the hobbyists and present us with the project?
Anh có tay nghề cao trong cơ khí xin cảm ơn đã chia sẻ với khán giả tác phẩm đẹp

Just have a glimpse into the Proxxon catalogue ...
Give it a magnetic base and you have a very small drill for accurate on site drilling of micro holes.

Really Hard work for this tiny cute gadget. Beautiful✨❤
Really like this, great work.
This would be amazing for someone that makes alot of small items for Stopmotion fabrication.
😍😍😍😍😍🇸🇦🇸🇦🇬🇳🇬🇳Excellent, you are a real genius
I work on the tiniest pieces for a tiny engine, I legit wish I had this thing, it would be perfect for me.
Literally, you are a creative person
One of the best DIY projects I've seen in a very long time. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
You have done it excellently and very professionally
Beautiful. Make more mini tools for sure. Please do a mini metal/wood Lathe too.
Small and mighty, simple beautiful 👌🏼🤘🏼👍🏼
That lil things got torque!

Perfecto gracias
Dang that's badass! A hand made mini drill press that fits in the palm of your hand 👌
Outstanding work in the best traditions of ‘hand made’ craftsmanship.
Nota mil, seu trabalho é muito bom, parabéns 👏👏
I have no need for one, but I want one. I now want an entire working mini workshop.
Thanks Totorial Nice Your Video 👍🌷
Very PERFEKT work 👍
Simply da best solution i've seen, bravo!
Got just anormous amount of esthetic extremums )
Станочек сказка , для радио , платы сверлить , самое то , ещё автоматичесую регулировку оборотов .😊
Doing those tiny TIG welds on the hinge and so on without just melting everything takes quite some skill!
Very skilled person, just perfect for electronic PCB's. Just need a small table saw and you have a micro miniature workshop! Nice :)
i think this is about the third time i've watched this - i've clicked subscribe this time, though!
Hehe hôm nay em được nghe cô Mây hát gòi :))
Very impressive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am impressed brother very nice

That is so ------- cute. Way cool.
I love how you’re just doing it
nice to see you make this very unique small drill press. this is very difficult for me.... greetings from Indonesia🙏🙏
The irony of using a full size drill press to make a diy drill press.
Thats how production works, you use machines to make more machines
I salute you bro, galing mo talaga.
This is a really beautiful mini drill press, well done.
You are really creative. Greetings to you
Eccellente, bravissimo. 😮👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
