    ⚠⚠IMPORTANT⚠⚠Since filming and editing this video, I have been informed that this machine is not on electro hydraulic levers, my initial impression jumping into the machine was that it drove differently to my current one and I was lead to believe it was one of the first on the EH controls - but apparently not!
    Also, the dual auxiliary circuit on the rear arm has been retrofitted by the dealer for a customer trial. The factory fit dual aux option DOES have an electric switchover inside the cab to change the extra dig to your 2nd circuit. Which would make running a 4 pipe tiltrotator install very useable for a cost effective price.
    I didn't have any time to research the machine as I usually do for this test, it turned up, I drove it for 40 mins and you see and hear my thoughts real time in these videos. Apologies for making this mistake, I hope to have a longer test of a dualdrive machine in the future to give my full in-depth review of this new game changing feature.

      Hello, i have dualdrive on my 2004 Hydrema 906c and is a very good function on a backhoe ! The feature is more advanced on the Hydrema, the powerslide system and stability is also clearly better but the Hydrema is also more expensive..

    Nice to see but that machine must be a very niche purchase.in my opinion customers won't pay for the benefits it may bring,I've been in the game 40 years too.must be getting on for £90k aswell.maybe backhoes are making a comeback but I sold my last one 12 years ago as demand just dissapeared and not had a call for one since.I don't know what rates these are either but would want to be £75 plus an hour at least.2.5 ton 360's are £50 plus at about a third of the price.good luck if you have a purchase.hope they sorted the crap turning circle with 20 inch fronts and hopefully the black paint will stay put

    They need to make the road transport speed higher on their backhoe range to keep up with the modern range of tractors etc.

      I've driven the new 50k Pro on the road and personally think that's fast enough! Modern tractors are so expensive now with air suspension, brakes, huge engines and gearbox's to do another 10k faster than the backhoe... It doesn't really seem worth it. Plus, in the UK at least, no tractor or excavator should actually be going faster than 40k. Just because they can doesn't mean they are legally allowed to.

      @Olliegunns so the jcb fastrac should only be driven at 40km ,even though they can clock 70/ 80 km or fendts that can clock 65 km should be driven at 40 km ,that's why farmers, contractors buy them so they aren't just driving at 40km ,did you ever spend a week or a month or even longer driving a tractor for 15,16 hours a day carting silage, corn etc ?

    • @Olliegunns
      @Olliegunns  День тому

      @ as I understand it, the fastrac and unimog (where registered as a tractor not a truck) are classed as high speed tractors and they are the only two vehicles, registered as tractors, that can do more than 40kph.
      I went to an NFU safety course before harvest last year and was surprised when I was told this. The regulations of trailer size are also shocking when you realise how outside the scope most modern setups are now.
      Have a read of this article on tractor speed limits www.nfuonline.com/updates-and-information/high-speed-tractors-vs-standard-tractors-what-s-the-difference/
      As for have I spent hours sat in a tractor, the answer is not really, I drive the combine and I’m overwidth in that so my max speed is even less.
      I’m not saying that the rules want looking at again as most relate to tractors when the 135 was still king - we are a long way from that now. But as the guy said at the talk I attended - it’s a can of worms not worth opening as it would likely result in more restrictions than freedoms. Be sensible with our machines, understand the rules and what we may or may not be breaking. And act accordingly.
      Cars aren’t allowed over 70mph but they all can go faster than that as we all know! Doesn’t mean it’s legal though

      So why did you make the comment that no tractor should be driving any faster than 40 km ?? You don't drive them or spend any time driving them ,that's like a tractor driver commenting on a 3Cx when he doesn't actually spend any real time driving a 3 cx ,farmers and contractors don't need someone who doesn't operate tractors full time telling them that they shouldn't drive faster than 40km ,I've spent thousands of hours driving tractors in Ireland and New Zealand
      and never ever have I been told by a contractor to drive a tractor at 40 km that can drive at 50,55 ,65 of 70 km ,jcb put the 50 km box in the 3cx because customers asked for it

    Has the quick hitch changed as I see you can put your ditching bucket on the opposite way round? Dual drive has definitely got its uses especially once you get more used to it.

      There are a couple that have been done on JCB 4CX's, not aware of any that have been done on CAT's.
